Yes I've read it. It is written like a diary. Don't expect a detailed description of how he used his weaponsystems. It is'nt a bad book, but there is to much religion involved for my taste.

Sorry Olgerd I only bought the book at amazone. I can't remember if they sold the HUD tapes at that time (2-3 years ago).

Hey Raploc, i have this book and read it, but i don't know what religiion are you talking about?, are you talking about how he feels about killing people or about his family?, I really loved the book and it was really entertaining.

Let me know raploc, maybe i'll read it again and get another perspective.

May I suggest this DVD for your needs:

There are quite a few parts in this DVD which gives you a direct look at the F-16 HUD in action. In one section of it you ride a long with the instructors at Red Flag who are flying F-16s against some students in F-15s. Also, there is bonus footage of an F-16 at the Paris Airshow which is all from the HUD perspective.

 

I have this DVD myself and highly recommend it. I just watched it yet again last week.
