Make sure your inertial nav system is up and running (speed showing on the HUD). The autohover will disable the autopilots if this is the case. Also, if you are below 4 m (or is it 10 m?), the autopilots will turn off.

Everythings is good and it still does it,

for example i go into instant action shooting range mission and i turn on the auto hover it turns the auto pilots off, it never did this before, then i restart the mission, i engage auto hover, this time it doesnt turn the autopilots off.

Everything in the helicopter is the same

There are a few things that can cause your auto pilot to trip. Many of the things are already listed. Another item is having your autopilot switch in the "in route" mode. If there is no waypoint selected i dont beleave the in route light lights up but it will trip your auto pilot when you into auto hover mode. Another way to get your auto pilot to trip is if you pull to much load on the rotors and drop the engine rpm it will trip the AC generators and your auto pilot switches. But the lights will flash if that happens.

Also worth noting is that the doppler radar on which the auto hover and HUD ground speed indicator rely is powered by the AC generators and takes a couple of minutes to warm up. In my experience, if you drop the RPM low enough to cut the generators (hint: the shkval momentarily turns off), you have to wait a couple of minutes for the doppler to come back online.
