TM Warthog Joystick

Track IR5 ( essential device imho)

Saitek Combat Pedals

Perhaps that square box thing you refernence is the TM Cougar MFD's ( I do not have but would like to at some point)

The Cougar MFD's are nice, but of limited use without monitors in them. I find it quicker to mouse click since I have to bring up the MFD in close-up anyway. Otherwise, parallax makes hit hard to figure out which button to hit.

* TrackIR4 with Clip Pro = Face Follow Thing

* CH products Fighterstick USB/Pro Throttle/Pro Rudder <- That thing is so much accurate and American made, also, you can map the entire HOTAS assignments from A-10C on one profile, and is less prone to electromagnetic interference unlike TM Warthog, which is good but not affordable, the three cost me 300 USD. I passed it through the Xray machine at airport and it still works.

* A pair of Nomex flight gloves (drab) size 7 (For increased immersion and stick grab difficulty, to mimic those great Hog boys up there)

* An iPad2 with iControlDCS (for CDU)

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

square box with buttonsaround it (TM cougar MFD) is highly recommended . and it is inexpencive.

switches we buy, panels switches sit in we make. for starters you don't need anything fancy, i started with printed and laminated panels.
