bSr.LCsta Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 One of the better videos I have seen lately. Lots of hud footage and carrier stuff. Description said this was taken during joint ops in A-stan with the french, but I have no idea if that is correct? http://geminy8.free.fr/image/video/12F.zip enjoy ;) 1 is this ok?

S77th-konkussion Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 Rafale is a nice looking plane. I noted there were single & 2 engine planes in that video. Are the twins the naval versions? [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]

Lol, I thought the divx had errors, or my eyes. So you saw it as well, guess I'm not going crazy after all. I thought all Rafales had 2 engines :icon_redf Creedence Clearwater Revival:worthy:

S77th-konkussion Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 heheh I'm not well educated in European Aviation. Seemed a big difference in planes there just make it carrier capable. [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
bSr.LCsta Posted November 30, 2005 Author Posted November 30, 2005 ROFL, those "single angine Rafales" are Super Etendards... are you sure? I thought the super entards looked like and A4 or an F4. (kinda old looking) is this ok?
Guest EVIL-SCOTSMAN Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 super entendards are old looking things, well as far as i can remember, and dont look nothing like rafale. i cant remember what the vid showed, as it was on my other rig and its all been formatted, so i cant say, but there is a big difference in them. As far as i can remember the tards :) look similar to the mirage in some respects. which is easy to understand since they are both made by the same company and along similar lines. i suppose there Maybe some loose similarities between the rafale and tard but not many.
bSr.LCsta Posted November 30, 2005 Author Posted November 30, 2005 I am pretty sure this is a super entenard.... http://geminy8.free.fr/image/video/surprise.zip (don't be scared by the title it is a good clip ;)) Another nice Rafale video http://www.dassault-aviation.com/documents/media/ACF20.zip is this ok?
Kindred Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Wow, again the french :p. Pretty intense. Flic is awesome especialy with the hud, carrier landings & bombing runs. Music editing itself, aint that good. But compensates with the video itself.:D Thanks man.
jj_pt Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Keep them coming! We want more! [sIGPIC]http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/images/userbars/A-10C_UserBar_01.gif[/sIGPIC]

Looked like Kfir's to me... what was it? i7-2600k@4GHz, 8GB, R9 280X 3GB, SSD, HOTAS WH, Pro Flight Combat Pedals, TIR5
Pilotasso Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 are you sure? I thought the super entards looked like and A4 or an F4. (kinda old looking) Pretty sure. There was never an single engine rafale. And the only other single engine aircraft to operate in the french carriers was the F-8 Crusader wich was retired well before the Rafale entered service. Super Etendard was a late 70's upgrade to the basic Etendard, wich is why it looks a litle more modern when seen from the side. Seen in flight youll notice the old fashioned swept wings. .
britgliderpilot Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Were that actual combat footage or just training? Looked like Kfir's to me... what was it? Will check the videos later (curse my lack of bandwitdth), but IIRC the Kfir was purely a Mirage with canards and upgrades various ;) Could have been anything, will check viddeyo . . . . http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v121/britgliderpilot/BS2Britgliderpilot-1.jpg
