All I want is Eagle Dynamics Advanced Flight Model. In A-10C, it took some time to get to 'be one' with the aircraft. I don't care about naval. I think F-16 would be the greatest add-on.

1. HARM capability.

2. A-G capability

3. Air to Air capability

4. Refuel compatible.

5. F-16's are rock solid.

AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

;1658307']I'm looking forward to the long missions!

When DCS F-18 comes out I'll build a MP mission with the US Carrier based just north of the Bosphorus Straight so all sorties to the mainland have to involve refueling etc.

Shoot off the CAT

Grab some gas

Shoot some fools

Run some SEAD / DEAD

Bomb a bridge

Shoot some more fools

Grab some gas

Trap

*Sigh* can't wait :D

This scenario is not possible in any modern sim at a DCS level. When a F18 comes out for DCS, hopefully by ED, there will be nothing like it. I can't freakin wait!

The Su-33 can do that, which was something I loved to do, very hard though and no actives. The tanker in every mission is key to getting fuel. Why would someone fly 60 miles past their base to tank? when they can just land and be closer, which most people did.

Already doing it all in FSX with the VRS SH, that IMO is DCS level I have had to do just as much study for this as DCS A-10C/DCS KA50.

The Su-33 is great, but it's not to DCS standards, and the F/A-18 has guided A2G.

FSX is great as well, but there is no combat at the level of even the current FC/DCS standard.

Listen, I want that F/A-18 now damn it. Nothing you're going to type gonna change my mind :)

F-16 or F-18 and I'll be happy with either one.........ok, I'll be happy with the 15 too. I think it's the F-16...

F/A-18C Reports question for Wags

Longtime since I have posted here since Kato and I started the Virtual Blue Angels, I was reading over the sim hq interview and also see now Wags avatar is a F/A-18 C . Are the reports of that being the next DCS Aircraft true? If so I'm going to jump for joy!!!.. also how are my beloved VBA doing? report in guys! :)

That's a false statement, there are a lot of people that would be very happy with a F-16.

+1... I'd love a DCS level F-16CG/CJ but for reasons completely unrelated to the ongoing discussion... I paid good money for a Thrustmaster cougar about 10 years ago and I'd like to get some real use out of it. (And Please don't suggest BMS... Yeah, I downloaded it, installed it and it kinda works. But after 3 hours trying to figure out graphics setting and trying to get my warthog to work...I gave up. DCS looks a thousand times better with 1/10 the hassle.)

A previous post also alluded to going fast...while I enjoy the pace of CAS missions in the A10...you can order a pizza and eat during a flight from Tbilisi to Sochi... Sometimes going fast is just good for the soul.

No matter if we get a -16, -18 or something else, as long as it can carry HARMS... We'll be doing better. ( come to think of it...wouldn't the HTS modeling be the same for both aircraft? ) I also think as far as fidelity...Aircraft such as the F-15, F-16 and F-18 would be better candidates for the DCS treatment due to their age. Not that they are " old" but they are from the same era as the A-10..,

Finally, if the ever figure out the one seat two seat logic, I too would like to see the AH-64... Counterpoint to the go fast, go slow...

First off, nothing confirmed by ED. Second, I'd love an F-16 over the F-18. Nevermind the naval ops. The GMR of F-16 is second to none, IMHO. And besides, the F-16 is a world class multirole fighter, whereas the F-18, is NATO limited. Most countries if not all have at least a parked F-16 somewhere.

Are you my mind? I've been looking for the past 3 days for FSX longbow (alphasim's) and can't find it. Best match is virtavia's. Same for the viper, except something wrong with Iris's website, and the confusion of selecting that or aerosim's Viper.
