Boberro Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 It is nice, however still easily recognizable that it is just computer graphics. I am waiting for photorealistic games :P Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
Ali Fish Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 (edited) That is incredible and inspiring. nobody can argue with that level of detail. WOW ! regards photo realism its the lighting engine we really need now to achieve that.... Edited April 15, 2013 by Ali Fish [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
VincentLaw Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 (edited) nobody can argue with that level of detail. And then I argued with that level of detail. It is dishonest to claim 1 cm/pixel when the mesh resolution is >>> 1 cm. The buildings, cars, and other props are very flat and blocky looking, being made of only a few large polygons each, and the video spends most of the time looking at the airplanes instead of the scenery. Obviously the texture resolution should be finer than the mesh resolution, but not to that extreme. It is still much nicer than default FSX scenery though. Lange_666 Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Nice but still stutters like hell. Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. Monitors: LG 27GL850-B27 2560x1440 + Samsung SyncMaster 2443 1920x1200, HOTAS: Warthog with Virpil WarBRD base, MFG Crosswind pedals, TrackIR4, Rift-S, Elgato Streamdeck XL. Personal Wish List: A6 Intruder, Vietnam theater, decent ATC module, better VR performance!
