Which FC3 EXE to use for changes in Nvidia Control Panel

I want to add the FC3 exe to my Nvidia Control Panel, but where do I find it and which one do I use?

There is no FC3.exe. There is a common DCS.exe and launcher.exe.

 

So you should notice a DCS Black Shark profile in NVIDIA control panel. Thats the same one.

So do I use the Black Shark one? Also, can anyone point me to a thread that has the best setting for FPS and what to turn off etc. Like are the cockpit shadows a massive FPS killer etc. Thanks!!

FC3 is a module that plugs into DCS World.

There is no separate eexe for it because of this. Simply set your profile for DCS World.

There is no such entry as DCS World in the standard nVidia Control Panel. The only one you will find is the Digital Combat Simulation: Black Shark

That's the one to use since it's pointing to DCS.exe (Witchking is right).

 

If you don't have the Digital Combat Simulation: Black Shark in your list, press the add button and make a new entry pointing to DCS.exe

Still on 306.97 here so that might be the reason. Doesn't make any difference tough since it's pointing to the same exe.

That's what I also see and am using it right now. I enabled Vsync in Nvidia Control Panel, because the one in game doesn't appear to work for me. I don't see any splitting around the cockpit now with my track Ir.

And these specific settings and issues are?

Because i can't find that anywhere written in the release summary.

Just want to know before i go through with updating the drivers.

Are you saying Vsync works better using the one in the game settings Mastiff? It's just when I turn it off in Nvidia Control panel and use the one in the game, I get tearing and things like that when I look around the cockpit. Or were you meaning it's better then the in game Vsync?

no the Vsync work better off from in the game setting, and us only the NVIDIA setting with VSYNC on,

 

the Kindel HD likes to change what I wrote for some reason..
