Help with first campaign mission

follow my navigators instructions perfect make it to the airfield we get cleared to land says land to the right of the hinds I do so after they land but still get 50% mission score and cant progress to next mission.. I have flown it 5 times now and needless to say starting to get frustrated what am I doing wrong????

Can't help with the mission score I'm afraid,but I just flew that mission and was quite chuffed when I managed to stay the course right up till I tried to land. :(

 

An hour and ten mins flying just to fireball it on landing. :cry:

Hey Alias! Great to see you're still flying! We'll PM.

 

As far as I know the mission should be passable and it was tested prior to release. Possible something got broke at the last minute. We'll have to give it a test flight.

 

I would guess though that maybe there's some confusion about what helipad to land on. Did you try some of the others nearby? In any case, next time you fly, save a track so we can check it out, otherwise difficult to say what happened.

I realized the first mission and complete with 100% rate.

Just follow what the captain orders for their messages. Sometimes he calls to reduce speed, sometimes to increase altitude.

Always be on the route. And when you are landing, pay attention to the chart below:

I simply landed on ALL helipads to be sure.

Once on the correct one the CO will tell you to shut down the Huey.

No problem with this mission for me. 100 points after nearly wrecking the Huey between two of the Springfield heli pads.

Is there a way to set the campaign missions to start cold? I'd like to be able to start her up before each mission.

Open said mission in the editor,click on your heli icon and at the right hand console click start from ramp instead of runway.Save and fly.

Yes. But it can not be done in missions 3, 6, 7, 11, 15.
