To the talented folks at ED,

Thanks for continuing to make improvements on DCS World and its modules. As a simmer that bought the first Flanker (DOS version) years ago it is great to see this bird with 6 DoF cockpit, high res./high poly model and updated sound samples.

Looking forward to the future with great anticipation!

We are now flying what we drooled over back then, the video of a render Eagle put out of this amazing machine... I wonder if that video is online somewhere.

... and here it is!!

Sorry... don't know how to embed. :)

Also..got to mention...amzing a10a cockpit too. Great job ED. I love the new cockpits. Truly amazing work. Few annoying bugs like HUD scaling upon zoom, some AI issues with wingman...but all in all...amazing release. :) I can't even imagine what 1.5 of DCS world will be like. :p ... The rest of the FC3 planes have 6dof cockpits, the terrain is updated... 64 bit only. Things look bright for the future of DCS. :)

I never thought I would say this but the Su25 is now my favourite aircraft... I have been relearning it since the latest patch release. Never have I felt so engrossed in a simulation... Just awesome...

The HUD scaling on zoom is no bug. The zoom feature in DCS World is an artificial zoom, not associated with any corresponding real world movement, just an enlargement of what is seen.

The actual forward/back movement of the head is controlled by another command called "camera forward/back" or some such. DCS titles such as A-10 and BS have this mapped to the TrackIR Z-axis by default, however in the new Su-27 cockpit for instance, it's still set to zoom. Just reassign the axis in the options and... voila, HUD stays same size.

I need to say that 3d pit of A-10A, Su-27 and Su-25 make Flamming cliffs a new game. Before patch I didn't event touch those planes and now I can't leave them to return back to A-10C. To me makes huge difference. Really good job guys, keep on!

Yes, Yes!:helpsmilie:

Please Stop it Now:D I am out of all my spare time and even using work time learning to fly the UH1, The KA50, Be a ground commander, run a tank, and effectively use the A10c...

I love the Flanker, F15's, Su's but there is just no time. I have a closet full of really great games and all I play is DCS stuff...it is sooo addicting and fun.:prop:

To add on learning to fly and fight with supersonic...Oh the pressure:cry:

I guess on the other hand I will have to buy it just to support ED:thumbup:

and hope you fighter jocks will fly cover for us guys down in the weeds doing 100 kts:clap_2:

Ask Jesus for Forgiveness before you takeoff :pilotfly:!
