Purg Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 1.2.4 added the ability based on the patch notes. • "F10" view. AI aircraft can now land based on ground force commander commands. But I've been unable to instruct air how to land. How do you do it?
Hyphara Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Any news on this? I tried everything to get my boys to RTB but all they did was circling around the airfield. CA has so much potential and i would really love to know how to land the planes.
Purg Posted May 24, 2013 Author Posted May 24, 2013 None, sadly. Would appear possible from the patch notes but I can't find anywhere in the UI to do it.
ED Team f-18hornet Posted August 1, 2013 ED Team Posted August 1, 2013 I don't think so but it would be great if there could be two buttons in UI. One "RTB" when you don't need him anymore and second "RTB rearm and T/O". AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, GeForce RTX 2080Ti, 32 GB DRAM, HOTAS TM Warthog, FSSB R3 Lighting, MFG Crosswind, Win 10 Pro
ED Team NineLine Posted August 1, 2013 ED Team Posted August 1, 2013 I believe options to control flights are a WIP, I dont think you can tell them to RTB unless its in the Advance WP's in the Mission Editor. You could set a trigger if you want to set them to loiter somewhere, then have an option to tell them to RTB through a trigger... I know, kinda clunky but it works right now. RTB, refuel, rearm, retask, repair... all would be great options for the future... Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**

armia741 Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Yeap, these options will be nice to have in future updates. http://www.mybraindumps.net/C4090-450.html http://www.bbk.ac.uk/ http://www.microsoft.com/ http://www.berkeley.edu/index.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft https://www.facebook.com/Microsoft
Nerdwing Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Agreed in full, that'd be a massive boost to CA's playability.

TraxusIV Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 +1. In my initial fooling around with CA, I discovered that my aircraft have a tendency, if I start them from parked, to take off, fly in a holding pattern for a bit, then land and get out of the plane. It would be nice to have a way to scramble aircraft that have landed and shut down. It would also be nice to be able to spawn in new units when playing as the Game Master. Call in a C-130 full of airborne infantry, for example. If you disapprove of this post, please feel free to give me negative rep.
