cheap charlie Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 It only took me several hours . I seriously couldn't understand all the fuss about its complexity. I was able to drop bombs on target without even a practice run, the gun I could shoot with my eyes shut and ILS landings in zero visibility could not get any easier than in this bird. And then ..unfortunately, I woke up
Sebastian Calvert Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 You would have died a happy man though... :D Very true. Assuming she could even lift the box :D Had I done so, I think she would move heaven, earth and a large proportion of the local group to smack me about the head with my financial folly, namely the Warthog HOTAS - and the box it came in. WildBillKelsoe Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 it IS hard to learn, but the payoff is awesome!!! Besides, this I dare say is the most realistic A-10C simulator available to consumers in history, and the forum goers each day speaks for that. Every tiny bit of detail is reproduced, and the flight model is now very easy to work with, although I have 1.1.1.1 still running just to compare how she fares. If you're an A-10C enthusiast, or a hardcore sim fan, you're in for a treat! AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

Weedburner Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 After you made all Training Lessons (A10 has much better training where you click buttons yourself which are marked by the Trainer, you also can fly yourself when in Training and not just watch a Video) you should be able to fly on a basic level. Also you dont have to read the whole manual, there also Quickstart Guides which explains the most important things. After 2 Days of Training i started playing Campaign.
