Glider_UK
Very interesting design what type of switches and buttons are you going to use? I am planning on making the button tops myself. Interesting design, has got me curious. I there something I have missed? Is it not accurate? It is from photos. Would welcome your feedback. http://www.modeldesigns.co.uk Mobo Asus Maximus XI RAM:64GB DDR4 CPU:Intel I9 9900 Nvidia 2080TI WIN10 64Bit HP Reverb

Glider_UK
Button Test The image below is just a test of the template for the buttons. They are only painted on the top and made from clear, hence the shabby look but the template works good, needs a few little tweaks but not far. FUNC button a little tight. http://www.modeldesigns.co.uk Mobo Asus Maximus XI RAM:64GB DDR4 CPU:Intel I9 9900 Nvidia 2080TI WIN10 64Bit HP Reverb
Hansolo
If it is just as template for the buttons I would suggest making them i white acrylic with paint on top. Mine are clear with paint on top and they tend to get a little difficult to see as the tactile button below is black. Just a suggestion. May not be a problem if you do backlit buttons. Looks great as always  Cheers Hans 132nd Virtual Wing homepage & 132nd Virtual Wing YouTube channel My DCS-BIOS sketches & Cockpit Album

The finished circuit board will use illuminated tactile switches. Thanks for the feedback, its always welcomed. Check this video out for backlighting Very dodgy music, look from 1:42. marker
Glider Do you have a link for the back panel lighting within the UK or EU? “Any pilot should be flying the spitfire, at least once.” – John S. Blyth
Glider_UK
Glider Do you have a link for the back panel lighting within the UK or EU? http://uk.rs-online.com/web/c/displays-optoelectronics/displays-industrial-monitors/electro-luminescent-sheets/ I spoke to support there a couple of weeks ago, some are in stock the rest he said would be in within 2 weeks. You also need to get a inverter if you want to power the sheet by USB. It requires an AC current, hence the inverter. if you power it by other means (power pack) you will not need it. They are very helpful if you give them a call. http://www.modeldesigns.co.uk Mobo Asus Maximus XI RAM:64GB DDR4 CPU:Intel I9 9900 Nvidia 2080TI WIN10 64Bit HP Reverb

Deadman
Well depending on if they would fit and what you will use to mount the panels on you may try these they are a bit expensive but all ready on your side of the pond. [/url] DM, do they make those in black, or do you have to paint them all? I figured I did mine at around $.30 a piece vs. $1.30, but of course these look a lot more professional! My homemade ones don't have the nice rolled over top to capture the fastener like the real ones. The panels are looking sharp!
