JG14_Smil Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 I tried out the 320.39 version of Nvidia drivers from the Guru3D website. I have to say I am impressed with both sharpness and smooth FPS. http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=379742 I followed the first link, it was slow, but a reliable link with no minefields.
MTFDarkEagle Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 What were your previous drivers? Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread
JG14_Smil Posted June 24, 2013 Author Posted June 24, 2013 always the latest drivers here. Try them if want. What I had before makes no difference to anyone else.
MTFDarkEagle Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Ah cool! I'm on 320.18 (latest WHQL), so if this new driver version gets more positive feedback I'll try them :) Thanks Smil! What card are you running? Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread
JG14_Smil Posted June 24, 2013 Author Posted June 24, 2013 Titan. I was really impressed by this version. Initial zoom in was very smooth. Last version has a little chop to it. I noticed sharper lines at the FARP I took off from online. I was able to add HDR to my setup, even with mirrors enabled. I could not do this last version without losing smoothness (6400x1920). They impressed me enough to stop flying and share what I learned. I would not post a link to a funky website or version, these say "Nvidia". :)
JG14_Smil Posted June 25, 2013 Author Posted June 25, 2013 Geforce has released a version 320.49 driver set... http://www.geforce.com/drivers I love the 320.39 version.

Rogue Trooper Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Sorry I'm new to this latest drivers stuff, I can't see 320.39 at the Nvidia site only 320.49. did you try .49 and if you did what did you think? Did you also update your board bios/drivers when you went to Titan? JG14_Smil Posted June 27, 2013 Author Posted June 27, 2013 320.39 was leaked version in the first post. I did not try out the .49 version. No, bios or board updates.
Rogue Trooper Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Thanks, I will try .49 once home tomorrow. The Titan is wet fluid as is.
