Well, I suppose I shouldn't bash it too hard; after all, it was old LO:MAC which first brought me into Eagle Dynamics sims. But I can't go back after trying DCS: A-10C and P-51D; anything less than max-realism is a big disappointment to me in a flight sim. Well, whatever pulls your prop ... have fun!

Yeah, agree. I wish it had the same fidelity as the a-10c and p-51d. My original thought was that you have to pay attention more to your instruments since the 25a lacks a HUD.

glad you are enjoying it but if you'd bought fc3 3 weeks ago during sales like i did for double what you spent (29.99) you would have had all the aircrafts of fc3 that are now coming out as single modules with free updates as well. I think the limit was the end of june or beginning of july. Whoever buys now fc3 won't have the same updates.

Hi. Does this plane have a PDF manual? I checked the main site and it seems every released plane barring this one has a guide. I tried the videos but it's very hard to understand what the man is saying due to the radio lol.

I think some might disagree, but I find Su-25A as great aircraft to start with. Ancient systems, no HUD, no autopilot, only reflex sight. It's really "back to basics" and it forces you to actually fly the aircraft and think about what you doing than just rely on automatization. I know flying A-10C is not piece of cake even with those gimmics, but you know what I mean ;) It might be old, but still fun!

He probably meant that when FC3 was on sale, it was 2x the value of these standalone modules while providing much more content (than just 2x). But since FC3 is back on it's original price, such discussion now is pointless.

But I have to say that "Whoever buys now fc3 won't have the same updates." is probably not true. I don't know how ED would deliver AFM updates only to old customers. FC3 should get it regardless, but I could be wrong.

May I ask where you got that eurofor? I just got the Su-25A myself and could not find a specific manual for the bird in the module directories. I only found the DCS Flaming Cliff's manual. Thanks for sharing this by the way.:thumbup:

Interesting. I bought directly from ED and I can tell you there is no manual of this sort included in my module. One would think it would be there with my other manual for my other aircraft. Guess it was an oversight.

I know. I have the Su-25A module too (not on steam). The FC3 manual was included but it was stated in the last patch notes that a separate manual had been added (which was missing):

 

Added Su-25 manual.

Anyone figured out how to get the MERs working? I really want to live out my tactical strike fantasies, but I'm limited to only the most impressive cluster bomb strikes.

First upgrade your PC specs...second purchase the VRS Superbug. FSX isn't the issue it comes down to the designers of the specific aircraft for the sim.
