tacannav Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 I cannot get the throttle to work on the A-10C in DCS, it works with the Su-25, I checked the key map, key pad (-) (+) works when manually pressing the keys, I tried re-keying both joystick software and in the sim and still cannot get it to work, does anyone have any Ideas how to fix this?
shagrat Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 does it work when starting in the air? If yes, it could be the "start engine" mechanism rshift+pos1 and ralt+pos1 to start the engines first. if that's not the issue, check the mapping is correct for throttle both if you have a single throttle stick. Standard mapping for normal stick is slider1 for throttle which is wrong. should be rz1 axis or so. tacannav Posted August 12, 2013 Author Posted August 12, 2013 I will look into that, and see what happens.
Kaiza Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Also try pushing it all the forward and then back to idle [SIGPIC]http://img856.imageshack.us/img856/2500/a10161sqnsignitureedite.png[/SIGPIC]
RglsPhoto Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 What joystick do you have? does the axzis work normally in the control page? I7-6700K OC 4.9G, 896G SSD, 32G RAM @ 2400MHz, NH-D15 cooling system,TM Hotas Warthog,Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals,TrackIr 5, BOSE M2
tacannav Posted August 12, 2013 Author Posted August 12, 2013 yes, it even works for the su-25, not for the a-10c.
tacannav Posted August 12, 2013 Author Posted August 12, 2013 Thanks Shagrat Yes, it was the slider for the axis, that resolved that issue....thanks!
shagrat Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Let me guess. X-52? Not necessarily. Seems the default profile prefers the slider to the RZ-axis, so any USB-device with multiple axis including a slider has this problem...:D Shagrat - Flying Sims since 1984 - Win 10 | i5 10600K@4.1GHz | 64GB | GeForce RTX 3090 - Asus VG34VQL1B | TrackIR5 | Simshaker & Jetseat | VPForce Rhino Base & VIRPIL T50 CM2 Stick on 200mm curved extension | VIRPIL T50 CM2 Throttle | VPC Rotor TCS Plus/Apache64 Grip | MFG Crosswind Rudder Pedals | WW Top Gun MIP | a hand made AHCP | 2x Elgato StreamDeck (Buttons galore)
Fish Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Too late for the poster, but here's a very useful logitech tool to help debug controller problems. You don't even install it, just run it. DiView.
