Well, Nebel being bigger than I thought it was I should say, thought I was looking at small tubes in the screenshot until I saw the photo of the guy standing next to them.
I knew you meant that ... was just having some fun following the "guess not only Americans like big guns" comment.

And yes, you're absolutely right about the Bf 109, except the disappointment part ;)

But of course I hope there will be one modeled soon ...

My sigpic is a HA-1112 (as used in the movie "Der Stern von Afrika"), as some forum members have rightly pointed out already. I like the paintscheme.

Good choice, I like the look of the Afrika Korps paint schemes as well.

As for the 190, main part of that disappointment came from the fact that a previous WWII sim I used to play years ago had it, and I never seemed to do well with the 190 in that game. I think the game was called Warbirds, before it became Warbirds 3D. It may be from the same company that has an online game of that title now, but it was an older one than what they have now. Hopefully my experience with the 190 turns out better in DCS, which it should since the flight model in DCS blows away that old game.

"Hurled headlong flaming from the ethereal sky; With hideous ruin and combustion down;
To bottomless perdition, there to dwell; In adamantine chains and penal fire"

IMO the more the merrier in terms of content, but to satisfy your WW2 needs for now you guys know IL2 Stormavik is out and has been patched up to where the game is quite excellent. Nothing like storming around in a BF-109 or in the old little hurricanes.

dont produce a new il2 for dcs

Well I wouldn't mind that either if the flyables were of DCS quality... but then my all-time favourite was always the single-seater namesake in IL-2 too, so I'm maybe a tad biased it has to be said ;)

The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.
