Thanks for my help, Jim

Try downloading the seperate module version 1.2.6 by torrent and see if that helps.

If you want to talk to anyone about anything personal, send it to their PM box. Interpersonal drama and ad hominem rebuttal are things that do not belong on a thread viewed by the public.

One thing i have to point out... naming a thread.. "OK, so" is as useful as tits on a bull.

Yeah, that works. So, anyone who has several planes/modules has to upate everything every time DCS World is updated. I am beginning to wonder just what DCS World does for me?

Thanks, Jim

The auto-update process would have updated all modules, which is one of the things that DCS World does for you.

If you actually download and install a new version of World, then you also must install a new version of any modules you own.

ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! Extreme 8GB, Corsair HX1000i, Phillips BDM4065UC 40" 4k monitor, VX2258 TouchScreen, TIR 5 w/ProClip, TM Warthog, VKB Gladiator Pro, Saitek X56, et. al., MFG Crosswind Pedals #1199, VolairSim Pit, Rift CV1

v1.2.0 was before the Auto Update.

Thanks for the replies! Auto Updater sounds like the way to go. BUT, I have just spent an hour trying to find how to do that. And I spent about the same amount of time looking for an updater before I did the new installation.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Thanks, Jim

Every 24 hrs the game will look for updates..

So if you launch it on a Monday first time it will look for updates but if you exit and re-launch it wont until the next day you launch the game. But you can force the update through the start menu...

If that makes sense

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Thanks for your reply! Yeah, it does make sense. I guess there is an application on my PC that does the update. I am on a laptop now that doesn't have DCS installed. I will check out your suggestion tomorrow.
