Gloom Demon Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 If I need to put the Fuel truck to enable refueling at an airfield and HEMT truck for ammo resupply, then what should an airfield have to repair an aircraft? St3v3f Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 You don't need to have any specific vehicles. It's sufficient for the airfield to belong to your coalition. You can set that in the Mission Editor by clicking on an airfield, or by placing any kind of vehicle near the airfield aka: Baron [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
ENO Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Yes those static vehicles only need to be put in place on FARPS. REMEMBER you need to put Russian versions of the equipment in place for Russian choppers and American stuff in place for American choppers. Lizzard Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 ...and you have to shut down your Aircraft completly..no Repair with running Engines My Specs: I don`t care..it is a Computer..a black one..
Gloom Demon Posted September 9, 2013 Author Posted September 9, 2013 (edited) That is strange - I have placed a fuel truck and a HEMT truck on Kobuletti in a mission I use to practice anti-ship runs and I still can't seem to get my aircraft repaired. Could it be that I have to be in a particular location of the airfield to do that? I do shut the engines, but that does not help - ground crew replies that they cannot comlpy. Pop the canopy open as well - Right Ctrl-C. They won't always do it with just engines off. Yes..your Aircraft has to be in the "Ramp Start" Position...you need no Trucks or Stuff like that...and it doesn`t matter where you are at the Airfeld..even on the Runway you can Trigger a Repair (as far as I`ve seen) My Specs: I don`t care..it is a Computer..a black one..
Hamblue Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 I've repaired on the runway plenty of times. You can also re-arm and fuel while waiting for the repair. Opening the canopy can be done in place of changing the radio switch to intercom. Asus Sabertooth P67 Motherboard 2600k CPU, 16 gig DDR3, 1600. Gloom Demon Posted October 9, 2013 Author Posted October 9, 2013 (edited) Clicking on an airfield to make it belong to my coalition worked, however now I can't seem to rearm my Huey. What can be the case? And what does the Suppliers button do in the window where I define to which coalition the airfield belongs to? BRooDJeRo Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Front doors open and battery power on. The Huey engine doesn't have to be turned off. When the chopper already runs then it's just the front doors open. 1
