Hamblue Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 I had a different server crash last night. When I woke up this morning the computer was powered down. Turns out my wife was bothered by my snoring. The lights of the warthog throttle was bothering her in the other room so she shut me down and anyone else that may have been on at the time. Night Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Honestly, DCS is so incredibly unstable right now that I would not consider it a multiplayer sim. You basically aren't going to get any form off stability right now. The last five multiplayer games I've played (104th, <51>'st, and S77th servers) have *ALL* crashed. Every single one. I don't even know why I bother anymore with this sim online, there just isn't much point to it right now. ENO Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 jump onto the firehouse now and go for a flight in "pop goes the wart weasel..." It's close enough you should get good ping and we've been pretty stable with only 3 crashes since the update. We run 24/7 just like the guys above... I'd be interested if you have better luck with ours? "ENO" Type in anger and you will make the greatest post you will ever regret. "Sweetest's" Military Aviation Art
Davis0079 Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 every server up right now that actually have clients on it show a mission time of 40 minute or less....tonight every server I was on (STP and S77th) crashed every 30-40 minutes into missions.. servers had 20- 35 ppl online when "server ping timeouts" drop all 30 clients at once...... like I said...after looking down the list of available servers, only a couple locked 2-3 client servers and empty servers had a mission time of more the 30 mins +- somethings certianly going on It only takes two things to fly, Airspeed and Money.
