ENO
We had a thread below with the same problem, but everyone moved back to 1.2.5 so it was considered closed. Looks like you have everything in line for a tangible bug report- but the guys here may want you to run a few tests. If you can stick to it for a few days it would likely be a big help. Gate-5
[OPEN] Runtime Error in multiplayer My DCS crashes almost every time I'm in multiplayer. The only thing that differs is the time until the crash, usually between 1 to 10 minutes. I was recently flying the Huey and Mi-8, had it with both of them. As far as I remember this happens only since I installed 1.2.6. System Specs GeForce GTX570, Driver Version 320.49 i5-2500K @ 3.3GHz 8GB RAM Windows 7, 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601 64bit CPU and GPU temperatures are fine and no where near max during all the time. (The only thing I observed is, that sometimes DCS uses about 7GB of RAM, or rather pagefile space and crashes, but thats not the problem I want to report here.) Drivers and software version Since I thought it might be my installation, I removed DCS completely (including user files on C: ) and reinstalled everything from the newest files in the download section (1.2.6). Furthermore I updated all the drivers for chipset, graphics card and so on. The C++ runtime library seems to be up to date, the installer from the Microsoft page tells me there is a newer version installed allready. The crash 1. Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library reports a runtime error. Program: E:\Games\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\DCS.exe. 2. Windows tells me the programm was closed: Problemsignatur: Problemereignisname: APPCRASH Anwendungsname: DCS.exe Anwendungsversion: 1.2.6.17746 Anwendungszeitstempel: 5225b96f Fehlermodulname: uh1_protect.dll Fehlermodulversion: 5.70.46.4 Fehlermodulzeitstempel: 5225bcb4 Ausnahmecode: 40000015 Ausnahmeoffset: 000000000002e2ee Betriebsystemversion: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3 Gebietsschema-ID: 2055 Zusatzinformation 1: ac3c Zusatzinformation 2: ac3c736c072fb320659f14fb2b4a17f5 Zusatzinformation 3: 1200 Zusatzinformation 4: 120074d30541cca8a616f784f01f1cdf Problemsignatur: Problemereignisname: APPCRASH Anwendungsname: DCS.exe Anwendungsversion: 1.2.6.17746 Anwendungszeitstempel: 5225b96f Fehlermodulname: NGModel.dll Fehlermodulversion: 1.2.6.17746 Fehlermodulzeitstempel: 520e4b05 Ausnahmecode: c0000005 Ausnahmeoffset: 000000000002074f Betriebsystemversion: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3 Gebietsschema-ID: 2055 Zusatzinformation 1: f157 Zusatzinformation 2: f1574ccb690c597fcef4da117f0097f7 Zusatzinformation 3: 07b2 Zusatzinformation 4: 07b247a677a1c008f4603d9f4cdb2194 Is there anything else I can test or submit that would help to solve that issue? Gate-5
About the things to try that SiThSpAwN mentioned in another thread: 1. Move the DCS World folder in your Users/Saved Games directory. Don't worry, the folder will be recreated when you next start the game. Note that this will reset your game option settings. - I deleted DCS and all modules including user/saved games folder and reinstalled everything. 2. Turn off UAC. - Duno what UAC is :helpsmilie:. 3. Run Microsoft Viual C++ 2010 runtime install:http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14632 - Tells me my version is newer or equal. 4. Run the latest DX9c Runtime Installer: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 - Tells me my version is newer or equal. 5. Make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date. - Is up to date. 6. If your are running PlayClaw 4, shut down that program. - Dont have that program. ENO
You've covered some bases there gate- that's for sure. Uh-1protect.dll is one they have seen... Does it mean anything? Don't know. I don't have the module and I've had one similar. Do you know if its crashing the server you're joined up to as well? "ENO" Type in anger and you will make the greatest post you will ever regret. Don't know. I don't have the module and I've had one similar. Do you know if its crashing the server you're joined up to as well? the protect.dlls have to do with the DRM, i had to remove the license from the registry and reactivate it, afterwards it went away. I also reinstalled the module in question, but i dont think that did anything. 1 A 1000 flights, a 1000 crashes, perfect record. =&arrFilter_pf[gameversion]=&arrFilter_pf[filelang]=&arrFilter_pf[aircraft]=&arrFilter_DATE_CREATE_1_DAYS_TO_BACK=&sort_by_order=TIMESTAMP_X_DESC"] Check out my random mods and things

Gate-5
Do you know if its crashing the server you're joined up to as well? No I think it doesnt. The ESL server still had people on it and the mission time was 3h when I rejoined. the protect.dlls have to do with the DRM, i had to remove the license from the registry and reactivate it, afterwards it went away. I also reinstalled the module in question, but i dont think that did anything. I'll give it a try, thanks for the hint. It might sometimes have something to do with the communication issue that Cougar reported, or something similar. Yesterday I crashed while starting up and getting the startup clearance from the ATC. But as far as I remember everything was fine with that and I didnt select the same request multiple times. Besides the runtime error I recently got some freezes that kind of completely blocked my computer. Everything just stopped (sound stays on but screen is frozen) working and when hitting ctrl-alt-del mutliple times the hdd began copying like crazy. So far I always rebooted after a couple of minutes. I once got to the desktop while having something similar and the ressource monitor showed that my RAM was completely filled up and hard faults graph was on 100%. ENO
Take a look at the sticky up top- it explains the runtime errors... especially if you were talking to ATC. There's another guy posting about the RAM issue in a thread near this one... I suggest you read the sticky regarding the runtime and contribute your other crashes related to the RAM issue in the "serious problems with RAM" (something like that.) Alireza.kh
i think i found a solution, i did these: 1.disable iGPU (virtu locid logix) from bios. 2.stop and disable "UPnP Device Host" and "SSDP Discovery" from windows services. after 4 hour playing no c++ error but i'm not sure and it take a few days to confirm. edit : not working on su-25A module ,still have c++ Edited September 15, 2013 by Alireza.kh
