dan265 Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Hello!!! After last update, i have a big problem while i contact JTAC. Everytime i press F1 for "ready to copy" option i hear a long bip sound as background while pilot is talking and then my pc freeze...only thing i can do is to reset my pc... Does anyone know about this problem?:cry:
BackboneOne Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 i had some problems with JTAC response after update (crash to desktop), it was solved by redesigning a mission. i just deleted old JTAC and create a new one. it seems there is a problem with missions created in older version before update. hope it will help. Feuerfalke Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 The radio frequency is reset to a non-working area when talking to the JTAC. The beep is just the warning. Just had the same problem. BelgarionNL Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Yes terrible problem! JTAC useless now
TurboHog Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 I got it working perfectly while I was testing a new JTAC mod for the Huey. 'Frett'
BelgarionNL Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 how? without radio assists switched on?
bacongrabber Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Same prolem here. Every time I talk to JTAC the beep starts and the frequency switches from 3.0 or 4.0 to 10.11 or something. Makes missions useless. Please Fix! Is there a workaround? Also now my target pod wont turn on for some reason.
kk0425 Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Maybe this issue is related? http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=112739
rassy7 Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 I got it working perfectly while I was testing a new JTAC mod for the Huey. That mod work Turbo? I couldn't believe it when I found out the Huey couldn't contact a JTAC. What could be the possible reasoning behind that? rassy7 Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Just tested it: Ka-50 JTAC mod + modified "comm.lua" in the Huey Mod directory to add the JTAC menu to the comms menu, similar to how it's done for the Shark (1 additonal line in the .lua). Works. :o) edit: Added the bold lines to the comm.lua, at the very end of the file: utils.verifyChunk(utils.loadfileIn('Scripts/UI/RadioCommandDialogPanel/Config/Common/ATC.lua', getfenv()))(5, {[Airbase.Category.AIRDROME] = true, [Airbase.Category.HELIPAD] = true} ) utils.verifyChunk(utils.loadfileIn('Scripts/UI/RadioCommandDialogPanel/Config/Common/JTAC.lua', getfenv()))(6) utils.verifyChunk(utils.loadfileIn('Scripts/UI/RadioCommandDialogPanel/Config/Common/AWACS.lua', getfenv()))(7, {tanker = true, radar = true}) utils.verifyChunk(utils.loadfileIn('Scripts/UI/RadioCommandDialogPanel/Config/Common/Ground Crew.lua', getfenv()))(8) edit2: The Hip should be suffering the same lack of JTAC comms. Should be possible to add the functionality the same way as for the Huey. This is reported to work, FYI.
