I'm actually looking at this right now.

 

Folder structure has changed in cockpit device_init.lua:

...\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\Mi-8MTV2\Cockpit\Scripts\device_init.lua

Very top for directory mounting in 1.2.xx

 

mount_vfs_model_path(LockOn_Options.script_path.."../Resources/Model/Shape")
mount_vfs_texture_archives(LockOn_Options.script_path.."../Resources/Model/Textures/MI8MTV-STND-TEXTURES")

This has been changed in the 1.5 OB to

mount_vfs_model_path(LockOn_Options.script_path.."../Shape")
mount_vfs_texture_archives(LockOn_Options.script_path.."../Textures/MI8MTV-STND-TEXTURES")

Make sure you put Devrim's MI8MTV-STND-TEXTURES folder (the one that contains all the .dds files) into the following directory to make it work in 1.5:

...\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\Mi-8MTV2\Cockpit\Textures\

Eeerm, dear Buzzles; In fact this mod has nothing to do with folder structure or lua files. It may be OK if you change DCS World to DCS World OpenBeta. But, I should check the textures to see if there's differences or changes. I'll do it tonight for this mod and ENG mod...

What I was trying to point out is that Belsimtek have changed where the module is looking for its cockpit textures via the lua files.

 

Your texture pack won't work in OB using your normal install location as that folder (..Resources/Model/...) you put your textures in is now ignored in favour of a different location.

 

Putting your lovely English cockpit textures in the new location and your mod works perfectly fine again :)

"Delete "MI8MTV-STND-TEXTURES" folder. Do not delete zip file!"

 

Well... the MI8MTV-STND-TEXTURES is the zip file! First it says "delete" and then "do not delete". I'm confused :huh:

But you should have seen the condition of this statement.

 

Taken from Ream Me text of the mod:

ATTENTION!

If you have installed older version of this mod (v1.7a or earlier) for DCS World 1.5.x, please remove it first! To do it;

1) Browse "...\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\Mi-8MTV2\Cockpit\Textures\"

2) Delete "MI8MTV-STND-TEXTURES" folder. Do not delete zip file!

 

Maybe I should remove these lines. :)

 

Anyway; Apparently you didn't install any older version of this mod. So, just copy "Mods" folder from my zip into "DCS World" folder. :)
