I have no errors with C++, this is the part I'm concerned with, in the C++ runtime crash.

P4: uh1_protect.dll

once again this is a new install. I redid all the inputs. Ka50 inputs are having issues with double inputs, that aren't even there.

Tonight a friend of mine got this error, while trying to landing to airport with A-10C in ELS server.

His screenshot:

attachment.php?attachmentid=88531

But I must say that for the record; He disconnected and after ~60 secs later, suddenly I dropped into lobby and got "Server Ping Timed Out" message.

Mastiff- do you have the Huey module?

Yes i own all modules, and DCS products and license.

This is the same as what I'm getting! Here:

dcs.exe

1.2.6.17746

5225b96f

uh1_protect.dll

5.70.46.4

5225bcb4

C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\mods\aircrafts\Uh-1H\bin\uh1_protect.dll

96cd7760-2455-11e3-be25-bc5ff409eab9

That error occurs and then 10 seconds later (according to Event Viewer), this one occurs:

dcs.exe

1.2.6.17746

5225b96f

ZweiBlau.dll

1.2.6.17746

520e4b0b

C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\ZweiBlau.dll

And the time before that I got this:

dcs.exe

1.2.6.17746

5225b96f

uh1_protect.dll

5.70.46.4

5225bcb4

And then this:

dcs.exe

1.2.6.17746

5225b96f

NGModel.dll

1.2.6.17746

520e4b05

c0000005

000000000002074f

01ceb746295c1e76

C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\dcs.exe

C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\NGModel.dll

99c802c2-233a-11e3-b705-bc5ff409eab9

I own the Huey and I'm not currently flying it. All of these crashes have been with the Su-25.

I swear, if this crashing is being caused by the stupid bloody DRM that ED have put on DCS, I will not buy any more modules.

bloody same as my messege...

I also moticed a savere lagging with me keyboard response (mainly with the numpad arrow keys for looking up, down, left and right). that is before I crash with runtime error.

Any chance you'd want to check your Event Viewer logs? Open 'Event Viewer', expand the 'Windows Logs' folder tree (on the left), click on 'Application' in that tree, in the window in the top center look for any Application Errors (you can sort by Source and that might make it easier to find). Some of them will involve the dcs.exe; these are the ones to look at.

I'm just interested to see if you have some them mention uh1_protect.dll. I seem to always have that error logged when I crash, and then also have a second error logged which involves another .dll (not the same one each time).

Although this is the Huey (uh1_protect.dll

) that error appeared in the A10c a few updates back.

Maybe one of the team will remember and recall the fix, I would assume it is due to the same programming error that is causing this one.

Some of the Multi-player errors were fixed by deleting the saved game folder, restarting the sim and logging onto a multi-player server. seems to reset something that isn't added during install. (Hypothesis; logical though)

I would go back to defaults on my inputs and reload my settings for the Ka50.

Same uh1 dll error

I'm having exactly the same error:

Ticket raised with ED

From XXXXXXXX at 21.09.2013 12:51:55

XXXX_Report.wer (26.03 Kb) [ download ]

This is happening almost every day at some point in multiplayer missions. Note it's not the actual server crash, its the local running app.

1. I'm flying the DCS A10C at the time, not the UH1

2. this has only happened since the 1.2.6 update

3. I haven't actually flown the UH1 since the update

I've attached the full crash log, issue appears to be related to:

Sig[3].Value=uh1_protect.dll

Interestingly, The crash hasn't happened since I've flown the Huey for the first time after the patch, this leads me to believe there is some issue under the following circumstances:

1. You update to 1.2.6

2. You have all modules installed

3. You only actually run 1 module (in my case A10C)

After actually running the Huey module (flying it) I haven't had the error. so maybe related to a DRM check on first running the huey which obviously doesn't activate if you haven't run it yet and causes the "uh1_protect.dll" runtime error.

I've flown the Huey since 1.2.6, but I'm still getting the error. I once thought I had a fix for the error, played for 2 hours without crashing and then it crashed with the same error again.

I'm having the same errors, first the run-time C++ and then the module uh1 protect error.

Also a BEX error in there somewhere, all seem random.

Tried everything, from clean up folders to old VB C++ installers and using now only 2010 and 2012 versions.

Doesnt matter what i try it will crash at some point and totally random while playing the same mission over and over.

My solution: screw 1.2.6 and roll back to 1.2.5 and all is fine.

Cant play the Mi-8 though but meh....

Just thought I'd also add to say I also have had this issue as described exactly above with the C++ runtime error, uh1h protect error and then straight after the zweiblau error (of it not zweiblau some other dcs dll is referenced which seems rather random).

I was playing online on the AEF161 playground mission and it occurred every single time I tried to select any F15C in the Springfield grouping of them. The plane would start to load begin to zoom out for about a second then it crashed with the error. Upon restarting I would try again and it would crash again. I had to chose another F15 group from a different start location before I could fly it.

Tried repeating this morning but unfortunately it's not doing it right now. I was flying the huey then the mi8 for a bit beforehand yesterday when I decided to switch to the F15 , and there were a couple of others on as well which may or may not have influenced the crashes.
