Hello,

I know that my english isn´t the best. Sorry for that.

After many hours of practice I´ve managed to start, land, fly and use the most of the weapon systems. Now I would do some quick misions to deepen the acquired knowledge.

But with the broken "easy comuniction" feature I can´t handel it.

I´ve tried to learn the radio handling, but at the moment it is too much at once for me to fly and manage the radio.

The only posible solutions to avoid the radi bug is deactivate the easy comunication or downgrade to 1.2.5, right?

And this is my question. How can I downgrade to 1.2.5?

What are the steps to do that?

What is the radio bug in 1.2.6? The only issue I am aware of is that frequencies of the VHF AM showing full tens of MHz are internally added 10 MHz. But this shouldn't affect easy comms.

Use the autopilot. Then you got all the time you need.

First one can be avoided by switching easy comms off.

Other two are the same as the one I described. When tone appears on correct frequency, tune it 10 MHz lower and everything should work.

If you insist on using easy comms, I am no help for you. Look it up in the neighboring DSC World subforum. I think other threads there deal with quite easy downgrade solutions.

Only issue I've had is when switching from 40mhz to 30mhz to contact JTAC Moonbeam. I went too far, radio started screaming at me. Went back to 30mhz and it stopped. When I was done & went back to 40, it screamed at me again. I rolled thru the frequencies - didnt solve it. Rolled 40 to 40.1 - it stopped. Rolled back to 40.0 & it was fine.

Now, I Have had issues with the tower ignoring me. I get inbound and cleared to contact tower responses when I call in. If I don't start my landing approach ill never get a clear to land response. Prob 2-3nm from runway. I'm lined up, gear down and flaps out at this point.

I just discovered this issue. Recently got back to the game from a break. I start a mission, and while I'm starting up the A-10 I tune the UHF AM radio to 131.00 which is the Batumi frequency and all I get is a tone..

A tone? What type of tone? You mean when you are contacting tower to takeoff or something? You haven't given enough info.

As soon as I tune to a specific range of frequencies on the VHF 2 radio, for example 131.00 which is the Batumi frequency, it just emits a constant tone for as long as the radio is on and tuned to that frequency and a few other frequencys. I don't remember the exact range atm, but I'll check it next time I play. I can't communicate on it while it's like that. Rolling back to 1.2.5 did not fix it.

You use the VHF FM radio 2 to talk to the JTAC, not the tower. The radio operates between 30.000 and 76.000 MHz and it's the one right at the back of the left hand console.

You should be using the VHF AM radio 1 for talking to the tower, the one just behind the throttles. This one operates between 116.00 and 151.975 MHz. Sometimes it's hard to see the frequency selector wheels but you know when it's out of range as you get the constant buzz that you are getting.

Hope this helps......

Yeah thanks, I just realized this few minutes ago -.- That's what I get for being away for too long, when I was getting re-familiarized I was using a source that mixed up the VHF radios. My bad.

Stop, here it is:http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1862263&postcount=2

Thanks for that. The fact that I couldn't use the Helios radios and the ILS bars responding to roll and pitch instead of direction and altitude was frustrating. While I enjoy multiplayer there are just too many things broken in the 1.2.6. As there hasn't been an update for some time now I wonder if DCS isn't pumping all of their resources into the new engine I've been hearing about.
