Jetkar Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Since the Master Server update our dedicated server its not able to host to master server as ip 5.9.70.142 set is incorrect instead of our actual ip should read 81.19.212.185. How can this be corrected?? Regards [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Steam ID: Jetkar Steam Group: 223rd CAS Join and fly with us on the 223rd CAS Dedicated server
joey45 Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Did you flush your DNS?? The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. ENO Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 (edited) Hmmmm, yes I'm currently running into the same problem. Same IP and yes already flushed dns. I went in and changed my network related files and had the system rebuild them... still had the same issue. I also performed a repair. I have a few other tricks I want to try- that "interface: "*" is next on my list. EDIT: I was reaching... no joy. EDIT2: 126 and 7 are both affected. I've tried everything I know of short of a reinstall and I hope we're not there. I'll keep you posted Jet- I'm on the hunt for solutions. GGTharos Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 DNS records take time to propagate the update - usually 24 hours. I suggest you turn your DNS servers back after a day. Yurgon Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 DNS records take time to propagate the update - usually 24 hours. I suggest you turn your DNS servers back after a day. Looks like only a few people had a problem because of this (I'm aware of three that posted about it). But it might be a good idea to set up a reverse proxy next time such a change needs to be performed to make sure that users don't even notice any downtime longer than a few minutes.
Jetkar Posted January 15, 2014 Author Posted January 15, 2014 Thank you everyone we resolved the problem it was a lua file causing an issue. Regards [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Steam ID: Jetkar Steam Group: 223rd CAS Join and fly with us on the 223rd CAS Dedicated server
