Currently recruiting Hornet and Tomcat pilots willing to join and help a new squadron grow. More information regarding squadron details can be found below. WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO We are a semi-historical squadron based on the United States Navy's Test and Evaluation Squadrons (VX). Although there have been many Naval test and Evaluation Squadrons, we have chosen to "simulate" only two of these, including VX-9 and VX-4. These two squadrons allow us to operate F-14A Tomcats and F/A-18C Hornets. We also fly A-4 Skyhawks to simulate Aggressors for training operations. Future operations will include weekly training operations and bi-weekly missions. Anyone active in the server is allowed to join these weekly training sorties, which consist of visual and flying lessons on new team dynamics and tactics and how to implement them within DCS World. Once you've passed your initial FAM, you will be allowed to join our bi-weekly missions and gain access to the rest of the server. Although each mission is not considered a training sortie, they will be set up to create a strategic learning experience. Each mission will have multiple set objectives, but how said objectives are completed is up to each flight element. REQUIREMENTS -Be at least 16 years of age -Own the Persian Gulf map -English speaking -Able to operate either the Hornet or Tomcat in most scenarios TIMEZONE We mainly use MST as a basis for scheduling operations. This is an international group of UH-1 enthusiast who enjoy creating Vietnam era missions that suit the capability of the UH-1H. The group is divided into five separate companies, each serving different time zones. What makes this organization unique is the addition of real world pilots that lend their knowledge training the members of the group. The 1st Cav Div has 5 real world helicopter pilots and four real world fixed wing pilots that all provide general knowledge and helpful hints to the group. Welcome to Birds of Prey. We are an Australian squadron seeking new members from Australia, New Zealand and the Americas as well as Europe. Ideally, we'd like to be able to field pilots in most timeframes. We are a new virtual Private Military Company (PMC) That is not aligned with NATO or the East. This allows us to fly whatever platform we desire to complete our tasks without being restricted by Western or Eastern airframes. Currently, as we have only just started, we fly the following airframes: -F16 -JF17 -Mirage 2000 -Mirage F1 CE Other airframes that we would like to add are the AH-64 Apache, F18, F14 and Eurofighter when it is released. ONE ACTUAL - Sim Meets Reality ONE ACTUAL members experience the DCS sandbox with a realistic human interaction at every level within a theater of operation. ONE ACTUAL squadrons trains to real world standards for Close Air Support (CAS), Strike Coordination and Armed Reconnaissance (SCAR), Air Intercept Control (AIC), and more. Such realism provides our real life subject matter experts positive training reps. This means you will have human comms and work as a team from takeoff to the tactical phase of your mission, and until you are home safe. Imagine the immersion of working with humans at every phase of an operation. Your wingman, your air controller, the JTAC on the ground, or the AIC in the air, all working together to overcome challenges we can’t on our own. We also are fortunate to have dedicated human red air that flies profiled red air, and who have their own mission to accomplish. Such a high level of competency is earned with dedication to a continuous mastery of skills. Debriefs play a key role in our community culture and they are perhaps our best learning tool. Thought we fly realistically in the air, outside the cockpit we are just a bunch of dudes hanging out and having fun. We are best suited for pilots who know their airframe well and are ready to apply their skills to overcome challenges with planning and teamwork. Our goal is to fly and train enough to tactically deploy our airframes as a team. This includes AAR, CASE III, CAS, SCAR, AIC, and more. Age 18 plus, and we are mostly plus. As a Striking Falcon we deliver goods with high explosives on top of enemies. CAS, SEAD, DEAD or STRIKING objectives deep inside enemy territory is what we enjoy most.
