We are brothers in arms, rigs and life in general. Our passion for combat aviation binds us together to fulfill our dream to soar the skies and shoot stuff down that challenge this desire. Originally formed in 2015 by founding members from the Indian subcontinent, we have now grown the fraternity to have a representation from across the world. Our SoPs, structure and tactics however, continue to emulate the venerable Indian Air Force. We compete in various DCS tournaments and train religiously over the weekends within the squadron as well as with other squadrons in the DCS realm. If you have it in you to be a part of a competitive squadron and more importantly, a very tightly knit fraternity, please give us a shout here >>> https://discord.gg/PuD5DEC. Jaihind.

CJTF47 is currently recruiting for pilots to join our ranks. We are a Military Simulation (MILSIM) group. The group consists of a Carrier Air Group, Marine Expeditionary Unit, Air Wing, and NATO (In the future). Pilots will be given the opportunity to choose a Primary and Secondary aircraft to fly. The following aircraft are available: MEU: AV-8B, UH-1H, MI-8, KC-130, *HH-60L, *AH-64D CVW: F/A-18D, F-14 (Pilot/RIO), MI-8, UH-1H *HH-60L Air Wing: A-10C, F-16, * Denotes possible future integration Initial training is “MANDATORY”. All pilots will complete initial training in the T-45 GOSHAWK or C101EB on our Nevada training server. Pilots will be issued a Flight logbook and required to log training flight hours. In addition, the training server will record hours flown. Initial training will cover 11 topics (100 codes). Pilot Candidates are giving 60 days to complete 30 hours of training (10 hrs. instructed, 20 hrs. solo practice). Once these milestones have been achieved, you’ll be eligible for a check ride. The check ride will test your knowledge of the 11 topics. The requirements for the 100 Codes may sound daunting but to break it down in a logical way, if you dedicate 5 hrs. a week (1hr a day Mon-Fri), you can achieve the required time in 6 weeks. This is quite achievable, however to offset any unexpected lack of flying, we allot 8 weeks for completion. After completion of the check ride, helicopter pilots will begin helicopter training in the UH-1H (Used as a Basic trainer). All Carrier based pilots will begin advance training (200 codes) covering 9 topics related to Carrier Operation. The check ride will consist of having the knowledge and being able to demonstrate the procedures for entering and exiting the holding stack, Case I departures, Case I/III recoveries, entering and exiting the Marshall Stack, and basic LSO calls. Once 200 codes or helicopter training is complete, you will then move to your Primary aircraft and began applying all the knowledge you’ve learned thus far. You’ll then be assigned to either the MEU, CAG, or Air Wing depending on your primary aircraft selection. Training is continuance between missions in order to become very familiar with your primary aircraft in order to fly and employ it effectively in battle. In addition, it will be equally important to learn the capabilities of enemy aircraft and ground threats. The finer details of this phase are still being developed. All time zones are welcomed, however most active members operate around US Central and Mountain time. We would like to eventually have a global community with members operating in as many time zones as possible. The ultimate goal of this group is to cultivate esprit de corps, test our skills in both missions and future competitions. Steel sharpens Steel and the members of this group both enjoy and have a strong passion for Combat Aviation. It’s that same passion which brings everyone from all different walks of life to DCS. We want to fly challenging missions with as much realism as possible while having fun doing it. In life, we tend to appreciate things more when it’s built upon hard work and dedication. Training may require some time, dedication, and maybe even a little bit of humble pie, but if you’re up for the challenge, please follow the link below. If time does not permit at this time come fly on our public server. https://headquarters47.com/ and click apply to join

*NOTICE:* Sadly, due to many reasons and issues, this squadron's command have decided that it is best for this group to be shut down. We are no longer accepting new members. Welcome to TF-108! We are mostly an American-based squadron, but we are open to and have members from all over the world. We are all friendly people, and are open to all skill levels, as long as you are honest and put in the effort to improve. We have a very talented mission maker, Kgunnr, who builds our missions for every Saturday at 15:00 EST. If that time doesn't work for you, don't worry. You can always join us during the week, before ops, and after ops when we train or when we are just messing around. We are all airplane enthusiasts, but DCS isn't the only game we play. We have a dedicated Space Engineers Server which you will have access to if you join our Discord Server. We just ask that you communicate with everyone else and that you work with others. Our discord is: https://discord.gg/ktf4yrYejm. When you join, someone will ask you what aircraft you fly as soon as they can. This way, we can assign you to the correct squadron (75th FS Tiger Sharks - A-10 Squad, 77th FS Gamblers - Viper Squad, etc.). If you have any questions, feel free to ask the CO or XO of your squadron. You can find out who is who in the #readme channel. -

The Arrorian Imperial Navy is a group of sim pilots who fly just about every module in DCS. We fly on multiplayer servers, help train and learn from one another, and help other sim pilots learn modules. We do product reviews, beta testing of stuff, and flight instruction. About 50-60% of us are military veterans, but that's not required. AIN is an open DCS squadron. We're open to anyone who wants to fly, and we do offer instruction. Our core group is military veterans from around the world. (Not just the US armed services) We fly multiplayer, fly our own servers, or have open training events. Here is a recommended list of modules: Syria Map (or most played, Persian Gulf is second apart from the free maps.) A4 Skyhawk Community Mod. (Highly recommended to install this if you want to fly AIN missions or play on our servers.) One of these modules: F/A-18 Hornet, F16C, JF17 or F14 It's nice if you have a helicopter. Here are the most played in AIN: AH64, SA342M, UH1, Mi24, Mi8, or Community free mod UH-60L Cold war jets such as the MiG-21, F5, Viggen, MiG-15, Saber, Mirage F1 Nice to have aircraft which have mission limitations because of design. A10C II We're grumpy old soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines. It's better if you're over 18 if you want to fly with us. -
