  2. There is a 2 staged zoom in VR. I am using it all the time. However it's not that easy to find, because as usual the command is using some cryptic explanation. When I am home I can dig it out. There 's even an unzoom regarding cockpit position for a wider field of view. Another hint how to improve AAR: don't use rudders once under the tanker, use gentle inputs, anticipate movement and try to narrow your F16 down to correct speeds and position. If you lose connection or can't connect most of the time it's speed related.
  3. Question : Could someone upload a screenshot from Mission Editor, the Ammo tab of one of CH's ground vehicles (preferably the CH's M270 or 2S35 SPG) ? I think I found something, but I'm not sure if it's only me or other people have the same.
  4. SATAC 25 Week 33 - The Road to the Finals This is it the ultimate weekend of **SATAC 25’s Final Stage**. Months of battles, split-second decisions, and precision flying have brought us here, and now only four squads remain. The stakes couldn’t be higher: the winners of this weekend will punch their ticket to the Finals, earning the right to prove they are the premier air-to-air squadron in DCS 2025. Every match is flown Best of 5, with human GCI using LotATC, Only the sharpest pilots and coolest heads will survive, pushing pilots to the absolute limit of communication, coordination, and combat skill. Saturday, August 16th – 1400z @Eclipse Task Force (International) clash with @inSky (China) in a matchup that could redefine the history of SATAC. Both have been relentless in their Final Stage matches, expect a good Mach up! Sunday, August 17th – 1800z The @45th (International) go head-to-head with the legendary @104th Phoenix (International). Aggression meets veteran mastery in what might be one of the most dramatic battles in SATAC 25. NOTE: And here’s the quality of SATAC 25 where Finals will be fought over the breathtaking KOLA-Map, made possible by our beloved sponsors at Orbx. The new terrain will push navigation, tactics, and situational awareness to the limit, ensuring a grand finale unlike anything seen before in DCS competition! SPONSORS: Huge thanks to our SATAC streamers, mission creators and admins. And to our amazing sponsors: Eagle Dynamics, Heatblur, Magnitude 3, Razbam, DEKA, Aerges, Tacview, LotATC, VKB, Masterarm Servers, and Orbx! Thank you for keeping the DCS greatest air to air championship airborne. 5. Asked a lot of time over 3 years or so... For homepit builders using simple switches a single action for the ejection seat handle is inevitable. Other models like the A-10 or F-4 (don't remember exactly) have the option to keybind it to a single keypress, not triple. Implementation shouldn't consume so much programming time... When?
  7. It's great that planes have upgrades, but ships need them too. You can take ship by ship and upgrade them. You don't have to upgrade them all at once. And newly introduced ships can have a better damage model! There's no need to push new ships with an outdated damage model!
  8. Yes, progress has been made when DCS was reworked for multi-core CPUs. About 10 years after multithreading became standard, Hallelujah. If more than half of the team is focused on the DCS core, it has probably been asleep for most of that time and continues to be. ........Development is happening so fast that DCS is better today than it will be tomorrow. The day after tomorrow. Yesterday...?
  9. Hi, we are discussing JDAM pre-planned self-guidance improvements internally, but I do not have any news to share currently. thank you
  10. I quite like the earlier bluish version...Im going to hold onto those too
  11. Hey. I'm glad you liked it. Regarding the code, it's actually the last video on my YouTube series that I've been procrastinating to record for months now. If you build it using the sketch (you can build it with shift registers instead of port expanders, and in that case you can use MMjoy2 instead of an arduino sketch), you'll have to make some adjustments to it. The 99 is because when I wrote it, I wasn't using all the pins of the expanders, therefore I used 99 for the unused ones.
  12. Indeed. I just added a slightly better picture
  13. Big thumbs up and thanks for your info and effort. I just finished my build using your instructions. I may be too stupid with the electronics because I was struggling with the shift registers and matrixes, so I finally got the MCP 23017 as one of the options you recommended. Works fine now. I am usion one Arduino pro micro, 4 x MCP23017, and your sketch. (There is a slight error in the code with the buttons; 99 as a designation is not working with maximum of 86 buttons.) I am a "FUNCTION BEFORE STYLE" guy. So while printing, I ran out of filament multiple times. using two old IPADs with spacedesk, a custom Helios profile, an old 7-inch USB monitor, and one Thrustmaster MFD. It works with my setup, and I am happy; even switching between pilot and CPG works with the displays. TEDAC display is always on Cheers LGB
  14. This is what I wrote about.
  15. The Zero is a big deal. It was one of the most feared planes of WWII and a game-changer in the Pacific, especially early on. We’ve been asking for it forever, and when it finally shows up, we get… a throwaway line? Come on. This thing deserves a proper Hell yeah moment, not a footnote. -I'm just saying the announcement on this is pretty underwhelming, that's all. But I'm still happy!!!
  16. Minor issue. Small metal link missing or not done yet maybe?
  17. Wolf> Thanks for the link. I'm going to a scan next Wed at a DOF3 at Simreality. One of my key points being to understand how I'd integrate it with my current Alu profile base and whether it would fit into what is not a massive space. Looking forward to that.
  18. Я бы даже модуль "DCS Реалистичная Вода" прикупил бы
  19. The last news talking about ED has centred on damage model of WW2 aircrafts.
  20. It's 2025, it's high time for ED to focus on damage models!
  21. So do I have to "put the thing on the thing" to steer correctly or how has the comand to be understood?
  22. Today
  23. I have recently got back into flying the Ka50(BS2) online MP server and have noticed that the nav light intensity is weak in daylight compared to other aircraft. I've tested this at night with a parked aircraft and noticed that the increase in intensity of the nav lights (10,30,100) only shows up as lighting the ground beneath or the fuselage of the helicopter. The actual intensity of the bulbs does not increase at all. 10% is the same as 100% when zoomed out from the aircraft externally. Any chance this can be looked into? It's been a while, so I don't know if the BS2 is supported.
  24. Great job. Someone already wrote this, the most anticipated mod for me. I have one question. Am I blind or am I missing something?
  25. I would advise running at 72Hz rather than capping the frame rate in DCS. 90Hz is probably means that you are maxing out your system.
  26. Could anybody please elaborate on the gain control for the F-1's radar? It seems that it has no effect on the display. But maybe I am using it wrong...
  27. Folks please don't derail the thread with subscription chatter, we have said many times in the past its not something that will work for DCS, and we have no plans for it. Topic here is Pacific Operations Assets Pack | Mission Save Development Progress | New Free Trials thank you
