  2. No, you said you locked with HMS. If SUV knob is in radar position then it’s using radar, scan or vertical scan.
  3. By "incorrect" I mean names that grossly mismatch headings (not just by a couple degrees, so cannot be written off to magvar): - Bienenfarm - numbers (09-27) don't match headings (128-308) - Braunschweig - numbers (08-26) don't match headings (093-273) - Buchel - numbers (03-21) don't match headings (040-220) - Garz - numbers (10-28) don't match headings (111-291) - Gutersloh - numbers (09-27) don't match headings (101-281) - Hahn - numbers (03-21) don't match headings (043-223) - Haina - numbers (10-28) don't match headings (113-293) - Hamburg - numbers (15-33) don't match headings (162-342) - Hamburg Finkenwerder - numbers (05-23) don't match headings (061-241) - Hannover - numbers (09-27) don't match headings (101-281) - Herrenteich - numbers (06-24) don't match headings (049-229) - Hildesheim - numbers (07-25) don't match headings (083-263) - Lubeck - numbers (07-25) don't match headings (080-260) - Merseburg - numbers (09-27) don't match headings (083-263) - Peenemunde - numbers (13-31) don't match headings (142-322) - Uetersen - numbers (09-27) don't match headings (103-283) - Wismar - numbers (10-28) don't match headings (089-269) - Wunstorf - numbers (08-26) don't match headings (091-271) * - Names according to the in-game info panel: - Bad Durkheim - RWY08-26* painted as 06-24 - Kothen - RWY10-28* painted as 09-27 - Luneburg - RWY08-26* painted as 06-24 - Mahlwinkel - RWY10-28* painted as 09-27 - Merseburg - RWY09-27* painted as 08-26 - Obermehler Schlotheim - RWY12-30* painted as 11-29 - Pottschutthohe - RWY06-24* painted as 22-04 (yes, the names are also flipped) - Wismar - RWY10-28* painted as 06-24 - Worms - RWY07-25* painted as 06-24
  4. ok, so the RAD Сlose Сombat mode is also only for IRST at the moment ? I hope they integrate the coop mode for radar and IR soon.....
  5. hello. please attach your DCS.LOG found in Saved Games. it may have some clues.
  6. Remember the C-101EB (1980), L-39ZA/ZO (1976/1978), MB-339A (1979) has cold war trainers and L-39 was the main Red (Warsaw pact) trainer on the Cold War. About a T-2 (UsNavy) (1958) and T-38 (USAF) (1961) missing only about as USA trainers.
  7. It is becuase your HMS lock is only for IRST Pnce we get coop, then we can use radar with HMS

The main issue with switching to DCS from, for example MSFS, is the restricted map coverage and need to pay to expand it.
  9. Hi, as mentioned earlier in the thread I have passed on your concerns to the team but that is all I can and ED can do at the moment. thank you
  11. If you lock someone with deltaH -6, outside missile range the circle will guide you to fly -6000m under them. Close to missile range, you get Gorka (r) and the circle will move to target altitude so you equalize altitude. It is saying you keep deltaH 0 after lock. There will be no sudden change in circle height as you approach missile range
  12. 3V supply to the pot when it should be 5V?
  13. Hello everyone. Another version of the block... https://youtu.be/m06d7K7g8CQ Website http://gvl224.com/
  14. You do it with the miror view. You need to display reshade menu. I’m not using steamVR, I have a Varjo Aero, that is supporting nativelly OpenXR.

  16. The variables are current fuel consumption. It divides remaining fuel by current fuel consumption and uses TAS to find distance flown until tank empty

  18. Hi, when I have a radar lock at closer range e.g. with the helmet sight and the enemy is still more than 3nm or 4nm away from me, I can only use the IR missiles of the Mig and not the R27R. It will not launch though I have a valid radar lock and the enemy is still beyond 3 or 4nm away. Is that normal for that missile or is it a bug ? It is every time when you achive a lock in one of the short range radar modes but the enemy is still more than 3nm away that you can't fire the semi active radar missiles. Do they have such a long minimum range ? I doubt that.... Thanks in advance Revor
  19. I don't think so Mr_sukebe. The Essex class carriers could easily generate 30 knots of wind over the deck, even in a dead calm. The Air department would then decide, based on the number of a/c that were spotted on the deck at the beginning of the launch cycle and the type of a/c and its load out to be launched, whether or not to use the catapults. The Navy had a desired wind velocity over the deck, 30 knots, that they would achieve using a combination of ambient wind and ship's speed. This was for launch as well as recovery. I have read stories about Jeep carriers (CVE's) that could not conduct flight ops due to lack of wind, and it wasn't because they couldn't launch them - they had a catapult, it was because it was deemed unsafe to recover the a/c with only 18-19 knots of wind over the deck.
  20. Not a line: that’s just on the picture to describe HUD symbology. It shows as a director dot with range, occasional commands, and when turn radar on automatically selects it yes unfortunately, why I hope we get a flexible Lazur implementation
  21. From a low level helicopter perspective the textures look pixilated and low in resolution in comparison to its counterpart, Afghanistan which is being developed along side Iraq. The field textures in particular look just like blurry satellite imagery with a lot of excessive noise thrown in to try and disguise the low detail textures. Flying fast through the mountains of North-Eastern Iraq, or tanking at high altitude this map is absolute superb. On rout to target with a helicopter on the other hand just makes me want to end the mission and fly anther map. Despite being developed at the same time and also by Eagle Dynamics, the Afghanistan map is far more detailed and seems in much higher resolution at low level compared to Iraq to me. The fields are especially convincing, lush with deep colours and definition but still blend in beautifully with the photo real look at altitude. There were a lot of complaints bout the state of Afghanistan at low level on first release and the developers absolute pulled it out all the stops to improve things and it is now for me at least the most convincing map ED has released not using all synthetic textures. Can we expect the Iraq map to receive the same level of detail at low level in the future for Iraq or is this the best detail achievable for this area for other reasons? I realise peoples perspectives differ, artistic styles differ between developers and that products will differ according to the technology available to the developers at the time. With both these maps being developed side by side and both by Eagle Dynamics, I hope we will see both maps up to the same standards.
  22. Is it not possible for two different manuals fire different audiences to say slightly two different things?
  23. 1. Dessau and Spangdahlem have the same ICAO (EDAD) 2. Garz and Hahn have the same ICAO (EDAH) 3. Merseburg and Zweibrucken have the same ICAO (EDAM) 4. Bad Durkheim has no ICAO (should probably be EDRF) 5. Not quite sure that Altes Lager's ICAO is correct (DAMN)
  24. Just in case someone is also having issue when the ch47f Linked lighting is ticked The Dim / Brt are doing nothing in the aircraft -> should change the screen brightness , but do not work. So, i provided a way to dim the physical CDU by linking it to the Key backlight information - if you check the CH47F linked ... Everything is controlled by the cdu knobs . You start the aircraft , fine, then the program receives the position of the knob -> 0 by default . This set all brightness level to 0 ! Just turn the knob and it should react. if you want it to behave like in DCS , leave the CH47 checkbox unticked. And i you don't want light management at all, tick the Global option that says that
