  1. Past hour
  2. Aaaahh! Haha, yeah, I guess that got lost in translation!
  3. I have started using my new gaming computer, and almost everything is working fine now. I have copied my TrackIR profile from the old to the new machine, but it's not working as before. The hotkeys I've defined work fine in TrackIR itself. But as soon as I run DCS World, my hotkeys are overridden by the ones in the TrackIR "Default" profile. Example: I used the "-" (minus) key on the numpad to center the view. I know that this key is bound in some of the DCS modules, and I removed these bindings. But still, the "-" key does nothing. Instead, I have to use "F12" which normally is used in the communication menus. I'd be grateful for a hint how to fix this.
  4. 最近DCS无法升级了,显示SSL连接错误,修复和清除都用了,都不管用。 autoupdate_log.txt
  5. I have too say that I was struggling with the F16 AAR for some time while in the other sim it was very smooth. I'm using a Warthog Joystick and the DCS F16 was much too sensitive. I had both gradient settings set to "off" and set the deadzone slider to "0" in the special options for the F16. I was only using the a curve with 5 in the roll and pitch axis with the input mapper of the Worthog stick in the controls. That was how I was understanding Wags explaintation. Now I tried with both gradient set to "on" and turned the deadzone all the way up to 4.375 and 5.9 and in the controls input mapper I leave it linear on pitch and role axis of the worthog, only using deadzone set to 3 in the input mapper. Flying and AAR with the Viper now feels like cheating. It is smooth as butter and I have no disconnects from the boom at all. This is a real gamechanger! But why is the recommandation from Wags exact the opposite. They say to set the gradient to "off" and use no deadzone at the special options for a spring centered stick. But the opposite is true... Try it!
  6. Under what circumstances would it be optimal to check the Sequential mirror rendering box?
  7. Sandy Hook NJ, formally Fort Handcock!
  8. Can you confirm your texture settings are on high? Have you modified any textures? Have you tried renaming your saved games folder for temporary measures? Have you tried running a repair?
  9. If you say that you're not an expert in military aviation it's the best time ever to start learning about it as Internet is full not only of books and memoirs but also original manuals and descriptions. Trust me, you'll have a lot of fun.
  10. @DejmienoPl If you're going to spend that much money, and you mostly fly the F-14, plan on F-4 and helicopters. You WILL regret down the line not getting a force feedback base. Even if you have to wait a little to save up more money. The FFB bases you can consider are the FFBeast and the VPForce Rhino, which both are made by enthusiasts and can also be done as a DIY project. There is also the Moza base, which might even fit your budget. Winwing and Virpil have plans to release FFB bases in the future. They will probably be better than the Moza, while I highly doubt they will have the flexibility and telemetry of the Rhino, and the strength of the Beast. Cheers!
  11. Сделал короткое видео зависимости маркера сброса и сигнала "ОТВ" он значения QFE цели. Возможно, что такое поведение может влиять на расчет, куда попадают бомбы, и где-то закралась ошибка, а может нет.
  12. I use the English cockpit, but I think the Russian one has the same problem. The labels of the various instruments and buttons are so blurred that it makes little difference whether I use the English or Russian cockpit. Strangely, I have just switched to a far more powerful PC hardware, and I did not notice this earlier. I tried some other modules, and their cockpits are all crisp and clear. Is this a bug or some setting I've overlooked. Screenshot attached.
  13. Funny, My kid plays sports at the Nike complex in Naperville, Il... Which is an old Nike missile site. Be cool to see this in game.
  14. Where is that, F-2?
  15. Check the A-10C II...
  16. Correct. The feature itself is already there since launch. The 3d model has all the options as separate animations and livery makers could already use this to for example have their livery equipped with a different helmet or for example a female pilot. The UI hooks into the same mechanism and just plays this animation. You can have a look at them already in DCS ModelViewer for example. From a technical perspective it works the same way as a switch or knob that is moved in the cockpit, just an animation with several states.
  17. There may be an incorrect translation.) I wrote that it's better to attack on the move, even at low speed, and you told me that you fly a Gazelle in bad weather with suspended gas tanks...(external fuel tank) I'm trying to use simple words and sentences so that it's not difficult for a translator.
  18. How much time did you spend on that? Looks awesome! [emoji1303] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  19. I'm curious about how it's going to be implemented. I presume you're going to be able to pick from among several pre-made heads, several helmets, and uniforms and then mix and match? I wouldn't guess you actually get to make the head like in role playing games.
  20. Same, but it's the gadgets and peripherals that stops me. Full server support for Linux would be cool though! [emoji1303] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  21. I took these last month
(Was ich vermute)..... Ist leider ein Nebeneffekt dieser Methode. Sticht mal mehr, mal weniger ins Auge - kann aber bei kleinen Bodenzielen ins Gewicht fallen danke ich.
  23. It will come during EA. We currently cannot provide any ETAs though, cheers. Regarding the "how", it is a popup window similar to the other HB UIs (e.g. Bombing Tool, in-game Manual, Jester Wheel, Virtual Browser, EFB, ...) similar to the one shown in the announcement trailer. Currently it allows selection of body type (also gender), helmet, gloves, sunglasses - but that might get expanded.
  24. An excellent QoL wish. I support! [emoji1303] Add in ultra shadows, extended visibility ranges and all the hidden good stuff while you're add it. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  25. It’s funny that there are forum rules about writing in all caps because that’s odd and distracting. But not rules about excessively bad writing, grammar or spelling. That’s actually more distracting. Yes English isn’t everyone’s first language but that’s true for readers as well. Someone who doesn’t read the language well won’t understand your post. A simple “excuse my English” in the signature line might be appropriate. It’s especially laughable when people (from English speaking countries) can’t bother to spell or write the aircraft names correctly. Oh and the plural of aircraft in English is aircraft.
  26. "Run Forest, RUN!" I support this wish. [emoji1303] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
