Hook skip and bolter logic

Didn’t see anything about this is the upcoming patch notes. I remember hearing that bolters would be more common with updated hook physics including hook skip bolters.

I always welcome more punishment for my errors in game. Please gib

On a side note, my girlfriend can trap the Tomcat every time. In the Hornet, not even once...that ain't right man!

I can't wait for the response when the LSO on Supercarrier waves off Tomcat pilots who are flying with a full fast indication. The wailing will be epic... ;)

Almost the same here: never had a tail hook rebound on the F-14, the F/A-18 on the other hand does it 50 % of my carrier landings.

(I know I'm yet to perfect my carrier landings.)

... don't recal at the moment who exactly, but I remember reading here by someone that:

This is on the to-do list, it has not yet become apparent to me how hook skipping can be implemented via the hook API that ED has provided. I'll get it eventually when other more important things are done.

Given that carrier landings are such a huge part of the Tomcat experience, and that they're currently, well, a bit Ace Combat in scope, the lack of priority this issue is being given is disheartening. The undercarriage also appears to be built from Vibranium, but I guess that'll get looked after some time later.
