  1. This is nothing realy new, I just wanted to put the campaign in the mission forum for the records. Red Hammer is a 10 mission campaign for the Su-25. The campaign features realistic mission profiles for the Su-25, active airbases and detailed sitreps/briefings. Downloads: http://www.virtual-jabog32.de/index.php?section=downloads&subcat=4&jumpto=334 http://www.lockonskins.co.uk/dlc.php?page=missions&MISID=35 http://lockonfiles.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownloaddetails&cid=88&lid=419&title=Su-25%20Red%20Hammer%20Campaign#dldetails Enjoy :)

  2. Yes, I am using a combination of pitch and heading to calculate the rate of turn. Another option would be to indicate the 'trajectory' rate of turn (e.g. it will be much smaller for cobra maneuver). Which one makes more sense? Wow, I didn't know a FFB joy would move after LoSetCommand inputs. Potentially it makes it possible to create a training mod, where one can 'feel' the controls in a track recorded by the instructor.

  3. Bit hipocritical there rugg. On one hand you tell Veljko to STFU yet on Stormin you say Well as you sat on your sofa drinking soda with you g/f Veljiko's country and probably his town was being bombed by your countries air force for trying to stop the KLA's campaign of terror. Granted a lot of innocent muslims were slaughtered there by the likes of milosivich but there were a lot of innocent serbs slaughtered by the KLA and with the current US stance on musilm terrorists do you really think that NATO would have sided with the KLA after 9/11? Telling Veljko to STFU on this would be like someone saying to a family member of a victim of 9/11 to "STFU we've heard enough, we are sick of hearing it. MOVE ON". You have to recgonise that there is victims on both sides in conflicts like this. So in response I would say "That's just par for the course w/Veljko'. Most of us just ignore him when he gets like that" There are victims on both sides with raw nerves on certain subject so its best if EVERYONE stopped and thought of other peoples experiences and feelings before they post.

  5. I guess, you are talking about Phantom Control and Show Controls :) http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?t=13321&highlight=phantom+control The tool window of Show Controls does not work when LockOn is in fullscreen (you have to uncheck the fullscreen button in LockOn graphics settings). I was planning to use overlay to fix this issue, but did not manage to make it yet.

  6. Thank you guys! And SK, about the manual idea, oh yeah definately! In fact a script could be made to try a whole range of tests, and when the plane would run out of fuel, make the pilot eject, recover, do another test. All of this could be done in accelerated time also. I had this script for awhile, but it was just to see if it could be done. So, the code doesn't use very good methods for finding roots, for example, the perfect bank angle for a given speed. It works and keeps a relatively good climb/descent rate, but that's why I threw that climb/descent rate in the tables - to visually check the average climb/dive rates. So, the movements are smooth, but not as smooth as they could be. Referring to Hawg's idea, it would be very useful if someone could do a maneuver and see, in real time, how effective it is. I think this would be useful for everyone, not just newer flyers. Someone who also might have info on a DPS/Radius program is Phil_C6.

  7. I made a script that makes the plane fly in circles, holds a set speed, and calculates different turn rates for different speeds/fuel. The only difference is, it didn't show this in real time, it dumped the data to a text file and there's no radius calculations. And! This is only for sustained turn rates, not instantaneous. 8. Christopher - if you make them all take off from parking and make sure they are all from the SAME COUNTRY then they all spawn OK straight away. I just retested it and had 10 flights of varying US aircraft and tasks (total of 40 aircraft) take off from Anapa.
