  1. Here is the 2007 Virtual Blue Angels mod for Flaming Cliffs as seen at VFAT and in our "Winter Training" screenshots on the main website. It includes all new single seat F/A-18A's, a 2 seat F/A-18B, a C-130T, Blue Angels hangar from Pensacola FL, Comm-Cart, Show center marker truck, and a bunch of other goodies. Here is a taste of what you will find: No weapons pylons, the wheels are on the ground, and shiny paint job: Working tailhook (not carrier capable): Pilot hand signals: Pilot raises and lowers visor when canopy raises and lowers: Pilot controlled shock cone for #5 and #6 jets.   2. Dedicated to ruggbutt and who hates the shimmering shadows. for LockOn 1.1x and 1.0x, LoMan 2.1 and ModMan compatible. Available at my site This mod removes the cloud shadows to solve the shimmering shadow problem. I know this is not the best solution to the problem, but now you have a choice at least; Shimmering shadows or No cloud shadows. It's normal "Structure Lights Mod" is stated as "Not installed" when this mod is installed.

  3. Hi Eagle, exactly like BGP said and to add: In order: B-32: Fire from VERY short range (<500m) as dispersion is high and explosive is small...or 500-1000m if targets are only trucks. B-8: Same tactic as B-32, fire short range to minimise dispersion. B-13: High dispersion but extraordinary impact, excellent against a tight group of vehicles or buildings etc. The B13 is the compromise between the high round-capacity of the lighter rockets and the one-shot S-24 and S-25. Although 5 rounds per pod, it shoots all 5 rounds in one go so...they are a one-shot device. S-24: Heav-ish rocket but difficult to shoot with pin-point accuracy, It has a smaller area of effect that the 25 so you need to hit targets almost spot on. Decent enough against tanks (one-shot kill) if you can hit them ;) (Laser on is the way to go with these, so you pipper is more precise). S-25/L: Super-heavy rockets and excellent as one-shot kills against any ground unit and light ships (bulk carriers and that light AAA ship, Molnya or Albatros, I forget its name). Good against structures but I always prefer a BTAB-250 if I'm after shelters/ammo dumps etc. S-25 is very useful against Vulcan/Shilka and Avenger/Strela if you have no guided munitions or want a bit of head-to-head fun with air defences. They have a wide area of effect so you just need to strike near them...perfect for that banked diving turn and loosing the rocket as your pipper passes through/near the target, before you jink away. S25s have a range of just under 3km...which is the Rmax of the SHORAD units I listed above...so you can go head-to-head with those units and, provided you are going fast enough, launch and bug out (hard) as they launch on you (which is enought to evade the IR missiles and easily evade the AAA). Because they have a large area of effect, you just need to get the rocket to land within 20m of the target and it'll die - they're a good rocket and multipurpose but very heavy though.   4. No game will let you do that my friend. How can you possibly leave a mission and the mission itself continue to run (isn't that why they call it - single player mode?) :D ?.What you are looking for requires you to set flyable aircaft as CLIENT, then create a server for your personal use since you have to run a the mission in multiplayer mode. It's like you are online (but of course you are flying as the sole client).

  5. Рискну присоедениться. По моему для новичков в качестве шаблона вполне подойдет. Я уже писал это в другом месте. Повторюсь. Любимая тактика удар-отход. Проблематично заметить пуск Стингера даже под 10-14 часов, если сам ты в это время сосредоточен на поиске цели и работе по ней. Поэтому тактика для ночи такая. Захват цели с максимально возможной дистанции ( благо она подсвечена ромбиком) скорость в пределах 450, высота метров 300-500, включил "Сухогруз", пуск "Вихрей" дуплетом. Пока ракеты летят к цели вывожу обороты на максимум, включаю автоматический отстрел ловушек и начинаю готовить отворот в заранее выбраную сторону. Попадание.Отключаю лазер. Ложу машину на бок. Отворот со снижением до предельно малой высоты и уход в обратном направлении от цели на максимальной скорости. Отключение выброса ловушек и выход в новую атаку по той же схеме. Прячусь за рельефом. Один заход- одна цель. Это не так эфектно как уворачиваться от ракет, зато эфективно. Для дневного времени то же самое, только дистанция захвата значительно увеличивается. Либо две цели за один заход, но тогда долго остывает лазер, либо короткими галсами по одной цели за раз. Поэтому кстати мне нравится С-25Л. Дистанция короткая. Лазер остывает быстро. Работа уплотняется. При работе Вихрями часто получается более размашисто. Не углубляться в зону действия ПВО, "откусывать" от края. Заранее по карте прикидывать маршрут выхода в атаку и отхода.
