As the list of keys that took 9 sheets (both sides), I created the list, on a single sheet, on one side only. They are all keys, except Views, Cheats, General and Labels, which keys are unimportant. Anything that controls the Ka50 is included. I wanted to make a post about a subject of the flight sims and the TrackIR product. I was flying this evening on Flaming-Cliff server ( 169th ) and after some fun missions with the Su-25T .. Well the funny thing is that i was going to just do some training aerobatics with the Su-25 ( AFM ) when i just tagged along with some other 25's, i asked if the virtual pilots around me had this cool product that i enjoy since the early time of the TrackIR-2 and many other do as well. All the pilots were flying with out it.... i was quite surprised ! many of the guys really couldn't afford to get it and they all wished to have one. Flying with a TrackIR is definitely a much better flight experience and i couldn't fly with out it now . So since many pilots had the TrackIR3 ( with or with out vector ) and went to the newer version 4, why not give the opportunity for our friends to have the same fun with your older version 3 of the TrackIR. What do you think if you could sale for cheap or just make the future Trackir owner pay for shipping, Trade, Donate, Exchange anything would be great for many members virtual pilots. Please add to this post your ideas, opinions and ... which model you can give/sell(cheap ) here. It's almost 2009 and Xmas is not too far back.. For addresses and deals keep it on pm's .. In the last few days I managed to gather some informations about Su-25's attack aircrafts from 461 ShAP based and Krasnodar AFB in Caucasus Military District. As far as I know, the unit was created in 1993. Nowadays unit got at least 34 Su-25 & Su-25BM single seat attack planes & Su-25UB two-seaters, organized in two separate squadrons. Most of the planes which belongs to this unit probably comes from attack squadrons previously withdrawned from East Germany and disbanded. Additionally at least 21 L-39C trainers can be found on the airfield. The total staff amount circa 620 personell. Lat time the unit leader became Colonel Valerij Kushnerev (Валерий Кушнерев). Or, lets say Kuschnerev, what a coincidence :) It's worth to notice that the most characteristic feature of the Su-25's from Krasnodar is an unusual "Red Wolf" insignia, painted on the both sides just under the front glass. 461 ShAP took part in most of the latest local conflicts in Southern Caucasus including Chechnya and Sth. Ossetia/Geogria. Unfortunately I didn't found any further informations. As far as I know, during the last air war over the Sth. Ossetia/Georgia unit, together with the 368 OShAP (Budiennovsk AFB) performed several airstrikes against georgian military assets. During one of the combat sorties performed in 13th August an Su-25 board no. "Red 46" took several hits from Georgian AA and made his way back to Krasnodar. This is still the only known mishap regarding to 461th ShAP. Most of the Su-25 losses over Georgia and Ossetia suffered the 368 OShAP. Few years ago there were plans to disband this unit in 2005, but as we can see squadron still perform various tasks over the Caucasus. Su-25UB no. '39' - side view: Su-25 board no. many fans here seem to be on the fixed wing side. i see that there are many helicopter fans here, but no poll for helis. so, here it is. i listed those that are full-time combat birds. i would like to see an Apache or Longbow, but also like the idea of a Mangusta or Tiger. thanks for coming... *edit: you can vote for more than one.

This is my first try at mission building, no enemies are present, there is a carrier and a frigate cruising back and forth at 20. there are other aircraft operating at the airport. you can refuel at the field or the ships. Feel free to add to this mission. Thanks ShipPractice.miz ShipPractice.miz

After a good 20 or so hours of work (I almost can't believe it) I finally managed to complete my first Black Shark Mission: Flank Guard http://cid-f33d8b1019e6f4ac.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/Public/FlankGuard.miz Alternate: http://www.virtual-jabog32.de/index.php?section=downloads&subcat=64&file=1005 Some features: -Large scenario of roughly battalion vs. company sized forces. -Detailed and (hopefully) realistic ground operations. Recon units will remain covert until under fire, then return fire and disengage. Some tanks will fight from hull down positions, then retreat under terrain cover to their next battle position, maximizing their effectiveness. Artillery will provide fire missions. -Radio communication of ground forces (copyright by Microprose's Gunship!) -80 Triggers -Some light randomization. The mission can be won or lost regardless of player input, but player actions highly affect the chances of a certain outcome. Here is the mission briefing: Some comments: The mission is designed to be played with trees enabled. I understand that trees provide no cover and are "fly through". Still, trees and especially forests provide a important division of the battlefield and provide cover for ground forces against the players sensors. Visual reconnaissance is a important aspect of this mission. For the best fun, it is also recommended to fly as if the trees would be solid. For me the wingman was quite useless. He can't fly NOE enough and eats Hawk SAMs quite often and is unable to attack inactive units, which a lot of the recon units initially are. I still left a wingman in for atmosphere. Perhaps someone with more experience in wingman control gets better results. The mission is quite unit heavy, so some people might get fps problems. On my machine it is playable on maximum settings. Because of the nature of the mission, you might not see lots of the ground action that is taking place. I still included it as I like the feeling that it would be there if I checked. People interested in that aspect might want to check it out separate (fly to PL WOLF to initiate the ground operation or watch the track after the mission). I would suggest to follow the southern axis with some time compression in lush phases. Since I am not yet very experienced with Black Shark, difficulty balancing might not be that good. Comments, criticism and suggestions are always welcome.

Chukk, Once I get done adding some squadron markings to all of them, I'm going to release them as a MODMAN pack. This will hopefully simplify things for people trying to add them. Brewber, Don't worry took me awhile to track down it was located too :) You want the KA-50-PAINT2.psd. Then you want the Layer Group Vtulka, then the layer Green Color. This is the rotor tops and the control arms. (although it in no way looks like it)

In fact, exactly what you describe happens when you install into "Program Files", as Vista uses file/folder virtualization for that directory tree. Programs with normal user rights are not allowed to write anywhere into "Program Files", instead their write requests for files in the "Program Files" tree are redirected to another "virtual" folder, where a copy of the original file is kept (and of course all read accesses to this file are also redirected to that copy). This way the program never alters the original file. To see the file copies that your program is actually writing to, click on the "Compatibility Files" button in the toolbar. Now if you start your program with admin rights, it will be allowed to write into "Program Files", and read accesses will not be redirected anymore to the virtual folder. That's why you seem to lose your settings, as the program now reads the original file, not the copy that has been altered. Stingers were never mounted on production Apaches, only development testbeds. While I cannot say what DCS will or will not do, my hope is that they leave the Stingers OUT.

FC is made to install into an existing LOMAC installation- it's not a complete sim itself. Install- 1. your original LOMAC >> FC >> 1.12 patch IIRC- each update will place another icon on your desktop- get rid of the older ones. Does the problem occur with the FC install itself or the 1.12 patch install? In what form did you pick up FC? (a cd or a download?) PICK YOUR 1.12 PATCH CAREFULLY!! There are 3 versions of it for the various media (cd, Euro-cd, download) Installing the wrong one will cause all kinds of havoc.
