  3. Hello:), (PDF files attached, at bottom. - I'm also including MS Word versions, so if you'd like to edit them in your own ways, it's a bit easier to do that. Both checklists, "with" and "without notes", brought up to final v2.0) EDIT: NEW The Checklist: I've now created what can be considered a proper checklist. That is, one without notes. Since I've been getting the hang of it, I've decided to promote myself! So, I used the original version with notes to create an abreviated version. It has the same content as the original, step by step, but is meant to be concise and lacks the detailed explanatory notes embedded into the original. Better suited to a more advanced user. Both files are attached, at bottom. The Checklist with Notes: This is my first real post, and I've decided to celebrate it with a bang. I've put together a detailed pre-flight startup checklist, with explanatory notes. Most of the information comes from the manual, forums, and the official training videos (especially Fabio Miguez's, posted in DCS's download section - p.s. I believe Mr. Miguez plans to offer a collection of videos and checklists for a nominal fee, fabiomiguez@gmail.com). I've added numerous procedural ammendments and notes of my own; some are superficial, while some further elaborate on a topic. Hope you find it useful. I encourage comments or suggestions for improvement, especially of a technical nature. As far as I know these checks are standard, but please help me to make it more realistic, and all-around better. Thanks! Here's some other user-created resources that I've appreciated: For those of you looking for Fabio Miguez's Checklist: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=42223&highlight=checklist+training For those of you looking for AlphaOneSix's Checklist: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?...6&postcount=65 For those of you looking for SDeath's Checklist: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=35571&highlight=checklist For those of you looking for DaWu's Checklist (it has pictures!): http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=35120&highlight=checklist For those of you looking for Mapi's Illustraded keyboard shortcut guide: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=37827&highlight=keyguide For those of you looking for Fabio Miquez's Excellent "Leading Edge Training" Video: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/index.php?end_pos=133&scr=products&lang=en For those of you looking for Fabio Miguez's Tooltip File (which adds keyboard shortcuts to all cockpit tooltips for switches and buttons): http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=36660&highlight=keyboard+shortcut Cheers* Sincerely, hilikusopus (Andrew) P.S. Please show Fabio support via the thread above, encouraging him to march on with his training video project! Changelog Edit: 6/26/09 - Version 2.0 Two very minor aesthetic changes, not worth updating version number. This should be the final iteration. Both versions (with and without notes) available in PDF and MS Word. MyChecklist 2.0.pdf MyChecklist Notes 2.0.pdf MyChecklist 2.0.doc MyChecklist Notes 2.0.doc

  5. Check this little gizmo out: MD03 - 24V 20A H Bridge Motor Drive I have a hunch that this is by far the simplest way for all us bitten by the "it's never quite enough.." Bug..!? And hooking it up on a existing Stick/Wheel .... Doesn't look to difficult if you ask me.? Anyone have experience with these? If not I am pretty sure I need to check'em out..! 6. Good idea. But why not use the built-in Track to AVI converter, then?

  7. That Chip Creep theory is bit of fiction/fantasy... the expansion/contraction of the slots are negligible and even if it was enough to loosen the contact there would have to be some force trying to oull the card outwards and as far as I know the only force that does have some effect on them is gravity,a nd it's pulling the card downwards, not sideways (to pull the cards out), not to mention all PCI cards are held in slots by screws, even the RAM modules are not just pliugged in, they have clips to secure them also. There is no way for cards or connectors to unplug themselves like that. Oxidisation of the contacts can happen if they were bit dirty.

  8. Обули его, да покрасили. Осталось мелочи такие как грязь, лента для подачи гранат и ДМ.

  9. I guess you could use FRAPS to record the track as avi or similar.

  10. I have an implementation question... From what I've read the sequence will be: 1)mission loads 2)track plays 3)player takes control My question is - How will the player know when the track is ended and that he/she is now in control? Does text pop up on screen that says "Go!" or some such, or is it a visual thing? This might sound like a stupid question at first, but what if the track takes place entirely in the cockpit? If the end of the track has the pilot looking forward in a neutral position, how is the player alerted that he now has control? Does the game pause? Is it seemless? Could we get a short vid of how you've implemented it? Just wondering... BTW, no biggies on the patch not coming till august. I'm expecting my first child to be born in a few weeks and I doubt I'll have much time for this game for the next few months...

  11. A-10C has also SADL, which allows keeping track of identified enemy vehicles and greatly enhances SA, and is somewhat comparable to ABRIS functionality. DCS:A-10C seems to explore some of this functionality, if I understand the Russian site: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/index.php?end_pos=2320&scr=default&lang=ru Yet another reason to eagerly await this next DCS title!!!!

  14. Всем привет. Скажите почему в игре ЛО буржуйскими самолетами управлять легче чем отечественными. Так в жизни или игра на деньги буржуев делалась?

  15. 1. Try to start and play without the stick. And do you have another mouse, just to test something completly different? That way we can eliminate it. If the crashes continue, we have to look elsewhere. And we may get confirmation if there is a problem with these devices. :) Is your system healthy in other aspects? Maybe you have some other relevant syndroms that can be part of the problem? Also, I found this thread with someone else using sidewinder (maybe you are using some sidewinder software?) NINJAEDIT: Blimey, Eth - you are quicker than me - go to bed! :D

  16. Looks like there's a problem with one of the controls you use with the game. Are you using a Saitek g15 keyboard, microsoft sidewinder mouse, or saitek x52 PRO HOTAS stick?
