  6. Hello guys, good news, with the flu of my kids, my company asked me to stay at home. Between two mails, i took time to finish the flanker stick (ruber parts close to the floor), and i rebuilt completely the floor. I will use the template made for the flanker stick to make the 25T's and the 29's. Flanker, i would like to replace the buttons wich are on the hud control panel. If you have a HD pict it would be usefull to share it :thumbup: The mod name will be "HD pits for russian export planes" The version 2 will be release later. It is going to be a fully acurate version with only cyrilic and red night lights. The german fulcrum will be the only one in english. At the begining, i wanted to release both at the same time but it would have delay the release too much:music_whistling:

  14. Sometimes that epic battle needs some music. I like to play some Ace Combat music, specifically Ace Combat Zero. I'm wondering what other people's preference for music is, well, for those who do listen to music flying. :) P.s. Not entirely sure if I should post this in off topic, as its about music, or here, as its about what music one plays when flying. >_>

  15. для Су-27, наверное, минут 15 до выхода на режим :) может лучше так оставить? а встроенная станция на миге серьёзную проблему составит только для гибддшного радара :)

  22. In a sense you are correct - the problem is, though, that e.g. movies are able to compensate for that by blurring the single pictures. For the human eye, that corresponds with fast moving objects. Most PC-Games don't. They simply have single renders. So you can run the game at 200FPS and movement won't look as real as a movie with 24 FPS. Only way out is applying blurring-filters to games as well. Then still, we have the difference that FPS does not only determine the output for the eye, but also the input for the controls ;)

  28. Странно, масса одинаковая почти, двигатели F-15 уступают Су-27 (максимальная тяга - 2 х 10810 кгс ; форсажная ‑ 2 х 12500, для F-15 и Су-27, соответственно) а скороподьемность выше у Эфки. Ну да ладно. Как реализовано, так и реализовано. Ведь никто не будет утверждать, что, при всей своей детальности проработки, игровой мир симулятора соответствует хотя бы на 90% реальному положению дел. Пусть хоть в симуляторе американцы ощутят гордость за свои самолеты.

  30. на сколько я знаю,рекорд по набору высоты 12 км остался за Су27.. тогда и правда похоже, что характеристики в открытом доступе принижаются, а на самом деле... ))) но если мы в игре мочим Фэки на том, что есть, то что же там на реальных стоит- просто чума!

Note that this post has been superceded by this one http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=795212&postcount=117 Given my general aversion to editing xml files :cry:, I've tacked on a new feature to TouchPal that will permit changing button and light controls directly in the GUI. To use this feature, build TouchPal with the attached source code changes (further instructions below), then run TouchPal with the -design command line option. Note that this command line option may be left on permanently if you like as it should not interfere with normal runtime operations. Changing a control To change a button (or light), simply right-click on it in the GUI. This will bring up a small context menu with a combobox and two buttons (Accept and Cancel). The combobox contains a list of all available controls that are the same size as the one you right clicked on. To replace the control, simply select an alternate one from the list and press the Accept button. You may undo your changes by pressing the blue Undo button that will appear near the bottom left of the screen after you've done an edit. Saving your changes Once you've changed one or more controls, a Save button will appear in the lower left area of the screen. Click on the button once to save your changes permanently to the touchpal.xml file. Important note: It is recommended to backup your original touchpal.xml file before saving. Also be aware that all comments in the touchpal.xml file will be stripped out when saving. Usage Notes 1. Most controls have a graphic assigned to them. When they do, you will see icons next to them in the context menu list. Some controls, however, are really just areas on a background template (like the ABRIS buttons). These will not be displayed with an icon and you will not be able to change the graphic, although you can still change its assignment. 2. For convenience, controls that are defined but not currently assigned to a panel, will show up on the list in slightly dimmed italics. You can select these just like any other control. 3. In the course of changing buttons, it is likely that you will temporarily produce duplicate buttons on screen. If you've just changed a button assignment and would like to see if there is a duplicate on screen, simply press the button and watch. You should see any duplicates also being depressed (this doesn't work for controls that don't change visible state when clicked). 4. It is important to note that this feature is not a profile *creation* tool, but a profile *modification* tool. It presumes you already have a fully populated and basically correct profile installed that you want to tweak. If you want to create brand new controls, graphics, or layouts, you will still need to hand-edit the profile. Source Code This post only includes source code. I will let Gadroc inspect to see if he would like to merge it into the project. Assuming the source tip over at Google hasn't changed in the last couple of days, you should be able to use the files in the attached zip pretty much as-is. Just drop in and replace. Note, however, that I haven't included a new project file, so you will need to add the following class files to the project manually using the Add Existing Item option in VS (assuming you're using VS). * ProfileManager.cs, * CockpitContextMenu.cs, * SaveAction.cs * UndoAction.cs * UndoEditItem.cs * UndoEditStack.cs * RoundStack.cs Also be aware that there is a slightly modified replacement touchpal.xml file included that is needed to support the new Save and Undo button panels; and you will also need to add the following graphics to your blackshark folder. * save.png * undo.png * power.png (optional -- to match look of new save & undo buttons) Oh yeah, some friendly reminders: Don't forget to add -debug to the command line arguments in the Debug tab of the project if you are using the debugger (or to the executable if you're running it that way). Also don't forget to adjust the <Layout> X and Y coordinates in touchpal.xml if you have customized them and are replacing your existing file with this one. Dave TouchPalEditor.zip

  34. Keeps getting better and better! However, there is some information my brain isn't able to process. These Q&As make me think that it's possible that there could be a situation where BS is compatible with both A-10 and FC2.0 but A-10 and FC2.0 aren't compatible with each other. If such situation is possible, how can that be? Common sense says that this isn't possible but in case A-10 won't be compatible with FC2.0, it means that FC2.0 and BS players will be able to fly with each other only for a short period of time until A-10 is released and will "destroy" this compatibility. I figure there would be two possible scenarios. Either ED will have to patch both BS and FC2.0 every time a new patch or future module will be released to retain this compatibility or the compatibility of FC2.0 and DCS series will be dropped as soon as new DCS modules will be released. Could someone with less tired brains explain this to me as mine can't process this "conflict". :huh:

  36. Улучшили ли вы характеристики ракет семейства 27? Или ЭР и Р все ровно будут уходить в молоко от того что пилот чихнет в кабине... и теперь Т и ЭТ с уменьшеной зоной сканирования тоже будут легко уходить в молоко :( По прочитаному понял что на жалобы от наших товарищей на другом берегу озера вы все таки повелись, и похоже Амраам будет летать быстрей и вообще убер ракетой станет, так что? все дружно переходим на корявую Феку? Сорь за пессимизм но чет последнее время заметил тенденцию про Русскую технику забывать, занижать и прочее... жаль. Заранее спасибо.

  40. 18? Well you must have the slowest brain known to mankind then. Please, if you think that like 25 is enough because movies are shown like that (or used to) you are dead wrong. Only thing why 25fps is enough in movies is that the whole screen is blurred. The difference ain't that great in the pictures so 25fps is ample. For games however it was first generally thought that 30fps would be enough. Few years later it gone up to 60. And yes it even went up after that, 72fps was the new "must have". Then there was an test by the USAF that showed one picture different from all the others. And take a guess how many fps that was, 72? no wrong. 100 no wrong. It was 1 picture in 1/120 of a second. Realize what that means? Yes you are correct. The human eye can detect way more that 100fps, the be honest no-one knows where the limit is, except for the lil grey guys from outer space :music_whistling:

Для авиасимов нужно иметь предельно стабильную систему, сейчас весь форум оверклокерсру завален постами школоты, которая ноет и просит помощи, если гнать, то только проц немного, чтобы успевал за видеокартой, сколько счупал железок не интел, всегда какое нить глюкалово вылазило. И я кажется этот холивар начал, нехотел, но лично у меня не получалось, хотя лечу эти компы каждый день.

  47. 1.Haven't heard about such systems, but they can be implemented into standart receiver construction. So - maybe. 2.Theoretically - no. Just because it is passive. But in practice noone will wait a gift from the sky with the radar off. 3.HARM's have a inertial navigation system which used, for example, to defeat complexes of SAM sites with pulse radiation mode. When the radiation source is off, it just flies straight to the last known target position. I recommend you the Falcon manual, section about SAM.
