My goal is to create an in cockpit training environment to help you understand the systems of the KA-50 Black Shark. I'm sorry, but these missions will only work for Black Shark 2 and appear to only work in World 1.2.0 or later at this point. These Missions have been integrated into the core game and will be found under the training menu by default instead of the old videos. *TIP* It may be necessary to hold down a button such as the ABRIS buttons for the trigger to take affect. http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/173790/ *File contains ALL current training missions* Thanks PeterP for the menu integration. **Known Issues with the missions** - The advanced ABRIS training when it asks you to input the airdrome, none of the airdromes listed in the flight manual return. They all say "not found." I have fixed this issue but I will leave this error here for the time being to ensure that it does not break something else. The fix can be found here http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/646047/ Simply extract the folder into your DCS World folder and allow it to overwrite. Now you should be able to make those RAIM calculations. The correct code for Kobuleti however is UG5X, not KBLT as the training mission states. I absolutely love the DCS series and I am was blown away by its complexity and beauty all at the same time when I first sat in the cockpit of the A-10 and to this day. It was my first re-introduction to the genre from many years ago. I was immediately drawn in by the training missions walking you through the various steps of the cockpit and the true depth of the simulation. But I learned it in no time because I was able to see and follow the instructors instructions step by step and move the components myself. Then I found out about Blackshark2 and was very eager to have a helicopter to compliment this amazing A-10. Sadly, there were no training instructions, only videos which I have a hard time learning from. I watched a few a few times, picked up a few of the mandatory steps, but in the end, I got her started by flipping on all the switches. My buddies would say, "How do I start this thing?" and all I could say was. "I dunno, just flip all the switches". I began asking questions on the forums here and reading about other people asking the same thing. I began to see the same thing over and over. "How do I do this?" In all honesty, I put the game down and went back to A-10. Though at the time there was a lack of missions available for the sim so I took it upon myself from my group of friends to get into the mission editor and design some missions for us to fly. While trying to teach myself the mission editor, I was dissecting the trigger system through the missions provided by ED. I began to see how the mission editor worked and then BAM!!! A stroke of genius hit me, I opened an A-10 training mission to see how it was done and realized that these same triggers and settings were available to me to use. After much more research and videos, I began creating my JTAC coordinate entry training because the forums were awash of "How do I enter the coordinates the JTAC gives me?" Once I had released that mission, I thought I could apply what I had learned to the Blackshark and set out to do just that. I watched the official videos over and over again laying out the mission verbiage and style on paper then more research to figure out how to set the triggers to see the various components of the cockpit. After many long hours of research and asking questions here on the forum, we have the missions as they are today. While I personally feel there is always room for improvement, and I am all ears, I feel these missions are complete. Each of these missions took about 20 hours each with the cold startup taking approximately 40 hours due to a lack of knowledge to complete. The Advanced ABRIS training also took about 40 hours due to the amount of information and complexity it has. In the end, I am always open for suggestions and above all else, I hope this effort has been helpful in helping new pilots get flying sooner and enjoying the game faster.2 points

Oh really, I know more then a few that won't be adding it to their UPT. You don't know who is in the squad :megalol: Full time dad (4 kids), going to school, working and still find some time to fly :music_whistling: Good thing I can do some school while at work sometimes. Also the shift I work make it possible for me to fly.2 points

I have question for ED developers. Is it possible from ED to make there own server or few for every kind of this blod sport, because now how the things are going it`s not good. I would like to pay ED for server like for every month, 3 or 6 even 1 year, but just to be peaceful in my mind that there is one good server who running 24/7 and with RULES where everybody will act nice and fair. On one server today i think it was 159th i was kicked for teamkill from servman and i was just flying and didn`t even touch the trigger, and the day before i made strike like 10/2 kills/deaths. I don`t know was it that reason for my kicking from the server, but if it was, that is one more + for ED`servers with no personall feelings in game. Squads can still have there servers for some tacticals wars like RedFlag etc. I think this is very good idea, and ED can get more money then before just for the game, thank you. Salute!1 point

No.. Overclock that E8400 and you'll have no problems. I have a E8400 @ 3.6Ghz.. can play the sim modded settings maxed out with 50fps.. to need to upgrade.1 point

Cadillac of the Sky I love flightsims. I especially love very well made flightsims. Flightsims in which the planes you 'fly' are as real as possible, rendered in exacting detail while retaining good gameplay. I love such flightsims, as ED has been providing for years now, because I'm interested in having the possibility of (simulated) flying. I love 'flying' in biplanes, in WW II fighters, in jets or helicopters. Whenever a developer like ED announces that it will publish a WW II fighter, I get very exited, because I know that ED will make an exceptionally well made flightsim. In the past 100 years of powered flight thousands of different types have been made. Hundreds of them very worthy of a flightsim. But you can't make hundreds of flightsims at once. Choices have to be made. The choice for the "Cadillac of the Sky" is excellent. I'm eagerly awaiting DCS P-51 Mustang.1 point

Well there Lies The problem then, The Nevada Team is in MINSK!!! Get those Boys on the Next Learjet out of town and set them up at The Presidential Suite at The Bellagio on The Vega$ Strip Pronto!!! I can't guarantee the Map will be done any faster but The Minsk team will have a Hell of a good time making it!!:lol:1 point

Ragazzi capite che in certe situazioni commerciali dare il giusto nome alle cose, o dare semplicemente il nome che si ritiene più appropriato, può essere deleterio per le vendite. Non tutti i Clienti giungono alle decisioni di acquisto nello stesso modo, chi ha dei figli credo lo sappia bene (io non ne ho, sia ben chiaro!!!per cui il "credo" è d'obbligo). Molti utenti che nutrono dei dubbi, che scaturiscono anche dal porsi semplici domande come "che cosa ci faccio?" potrebbero vedere nei dubbi degli altri una semplice Cassa di Risonanza per rafforzare e convincersi delle loro posizioni. Per questo l'esternazione non solo la rinuncia all'acquisto, ma anche delle motivazioni che hanno portato a tale decisione è deleteria ai fini commerciali. Qualcuno nei post precedenti mi ha accennato, e forse alcuni se lo stanno chiedendo, come mai per i Pay Add-on di FSX, nei relativi Forum di supporto, non avviene il "deterioramento" che invece avviene in questo Forum. Il mio parere è che in FSX il valore di ogni Add-on è fine a se stesso. La strada scelta dalla ED, invece, tesse tutta una serie di correlazioni tra i moduli che mette a disposizione dei clienti, a tal punto che il valore (inteso anche come appetibilità) di un modulo è strettamente correlato a quello degli altri moduli. Se ci pensate bene noi non scegliamo solamente un mezzo, scegliamo anche un Ruolo, e finchè le correlazioni che questo ruolo ha con altri Ruoli non saranno complete, avremo la sensazione di aver acquistato un ruolo potenziale che non si perfezionerà mai. Per questo quando la ED sceglie di intraprendere strade opposte a quelle descritte o ache semplicemente interpretate dagli utenti in un certo modo; dagli stessi utenti che qualche anno fa basarono la loro scelta di acquisto proprio sulla aspettativa di perfezionare il ruolo che avevano scelto entro tempi "ragionevoli", vedono quella aspettativa allontanarsi sempre più, o comunque non più tra gli obbiettivi principali di sviluppo. Comprendo benissimo che le mie posizioni, in caso di ragionamento "Avvocatesco-Legalese" fanno acqua da tutte le parti, quindi chiedo gentilmente di non replicare con: "L'interpretazione che hai dato al progetto qualche anno fa è appunto un tuo parere soggettivo che forse altri utenti non hanno avuto..." e bla bla.1 point

Hallejuhah brother. Testify. As much I enjoy and appreciate the missions made by the community the fascination with SAM hunting drives me insane. I really get quite frustrated with missions who add some kind of SAM destruction by A-10s as a winning condition of the mission. I can only deduce that it is some hang over from Viper drivers who liked SEAD mission in Falcon and are trying to mimic the experience in A-10, but as you mentioned, Hawgs are not sent in to clear SAMs. They may need to take out AAA around the area (especially non radar guided AAA) but going up against SAMs is simply not in Hawg doctrine. The only reason I can think of SAMs in a mission (that is...non MANPAD) is to help cordon the player to a specific area or to add an element of SAM avoidance to the mission (like the In the Weeds mission). Otherwise, sending Hawgs up against them is unrealistic IMHO.1 point

I fully agree to your opening statements. If a serious SAM/AAA threat is still viable in the AO, `hogs have no business there. That being said, I am unsure about Apaches as SEAD strikers, especially since V1.1.1.1, as the armor has quite the low-speed, low-level, (read helos), anti-air missile defense. I look forward to flying this, as it sounds more like "real-life" than most missions out there for SP, which seem to use the edict, harder is better/more real...1 point

Хочу предложить тему кампании в Мустанге. Сидят два супер-мульти-миллионера седоватых дядьки в элитном загородном клубе и обсуждают, у кого правильнее ФМ на его Мустанге. У каждого свой маленький скромный авиапарк на пять сотен мустангов. Не прийдя к общему мнению по поводу ФМ, они предагают встретиться на рассвете/на закате и проверить у кого длиннее(зачеркнуть), прочнее ДМ. Выбор оружия - все что можно прикрутить к крылу. И тут понеслась... :pilotfly:1 point

Через недельку все забудут про бредовость P-51D на Кавказе в современной обстановке и будут пускать слюни по 100 секционной симуляции аэродинамики каждой лопасти пропеллера." - план ED по урегулированию протестной ситуации. :) С этим продуктом ED допускает сразу несколько грубейших ошибок, очевидных уже сейчас: 1. Позиционирование продукта в рамках серии DCS (назвали бы Flying Legends: P-51D, объявили бы об открытии новой серии - все сказали бы "вау круто" и в худшем случае поворчали про бы сроки выхода следующего самолёта серии DCS) 2. Территория Кавказа и Причерноморья. ED умеет делать самолёты и вертолёты, делать карты они, очевидно, не умеют, либо просто откровенно халтурят, пытаясь втюхать нам Мустанг на Кавказе. Даже в Неваде он будет не более чем экспонатом авиашоу. 3. Время действия. Симулировать воевавший в ВМВ истребитель в современном мире - прерогатива платных самолётиков к MFS. Боевое применение Мустанга в современном мире - ненаучная фантастика.1 point

машинка-мостоукладчик то будет или нет? оооочень нужна. сейчас вся миссия с триггерами сыплется от этих подбитых мостов. ps: мосты так не горят - там гореть нечему, говорю как мостостроитель. ps2: или добавить триггер, влияющий на маршрут колонны. например, пройдена вторая точка, идёт на третюю. подходит к подбитому мосту (и тут триггер: скорость меньше 2км/ч, время в зоне 300 - действие - идти на точку 4 или идти обратно на 2, но не тупо стоять)1 point

You can also approach it with another scenario or 3... Airbase attack for instance: We know a supply/resource system is inbound. Now lets say the airbase has all the new "fixings" and A-10C's, BS2, FC3, DCS-Next are all employed to handle their respective threats and targets. DCS P-51 could be tasked to target those supply convoys before the reach the airfield and resupply them with their SAM and various other weapon systems. You could also have a mission where a JFAC/JTAC is directing P-51s in on a target only to be called off due to SAMs. At which point the Flight lead would loiter at a safe distance and would call in support. That support could be AI or human controlled. Think about another scenario where you have several SAMs guarding various tank units and other ground targets. They get taken out first by SU-25Ts from FC3 and then the P-51s get called in to straffe everything around there. When precision munitions are needed you'll have the new DCS AC like A-10C to handle those issues. I also see a Virtual HorseSmoke coming up! Imagine trying to compete with other pilots/VS and you don't have that fancy targetting pod to use...1 point

I sincerely hope that ED can combine all of the next modules into one engine. Having to install and patch 4+ games may be a nightmare not to mention nevada/combined arms (and future upgrades) may need to be installed for each lol.1 point

Please move the Mustang forum somewhere below the Warthog section... you're just now messing with my feelings... :cry: And, yeah... you can call the F/A-18 simulator whatever you want, even "Mustang" as I see is the occurence novadays... but get it out already... pliz... :D And of course, don't forget the WWII scenery for it - Nevada! :thumbup:1 point

Толковый выбор приходит с опытом,а к нему приводит выбор бестолковый(при условии что выбор вообще есть). Были созданы великолепные машины - турбовинтовой Ка-50,турбореактивный А-10С...очередь за поршневиком - весьма правильный выбор. Они такие разные ,давшие опыт всем ,и создателям и пользователям. Создание поршневика увеличит опыт и приумножит коллекцию .Каждая последующая модель лучше предыдущей.Полагаю что когда придет время истребителя ,он затмит все предыдущее. Удачи команде ED .Всегда сложнее тем кто идет первым.1 point

Только сейчас увидел ветку. Это пипец. На х.... оно нужно в серии DCS, если оно (она) относится к современной боевой авиации. До последнего не верил, что будет мустанг. Я в шоке.1 point

Когдато начинал летать в Фалконе, с пофиг какой там авионикой, только потому, что это была современная машина. Когда вышел СБА, оставил ИЛ-2. Развитие и перерождение СБА в ГС было вполне логично. Но Р-51!? Не пому, где логика? Класная авионика... Мне в БоБе летать над более реалистичным Лондоном интереснее, чем над, не хочу ни кого оскорбить, убогим ландшафтом в ГС или А-10С. Но в ГС и А-10С меня меньше всего интересовал ландшафт и тем более, пожелания некоторых "гурманов", отклонение травки от работающих двигателей. Летающим в он-лайне, больше всего интересуют сюжеты ТВД, почему и критиковали А-10С с ограниченным парком ЛА. Что касается Ка-10 - 1, то хоть это и был симулятор одного ЛА, но этому ЛА не было альтернативы, только жалкое убожество других симов... Как создатели, ЕД безусловно на высоте. Но в вашем выборе полностью разочарован! Кто-то правильно написал, придет покупатель в магазин, увидит на обложке Мустанга и обрадуется, вот сейчас фрицам задницу надеру! Установит и охиреет, что ему предлагается потягаться с F-15. Решит, что ктото перепутал хер с гусиной шеей... - А где суть? - А суть в песок... Очень разочарован. Думаю, что скоро дам объявление, о продаже своего А-10С за пол цены...1 point

Great, hopefully that's it for that cheat and he won't figure out a work-around. And at least with the problem of the "nuclear" weapons cheat, I think it's fixed in DCS 1.1.1.1. But by the DoS attacks, you're referring to him CTDing the host, right? There's a small possibility it will leave evidence of what he's doing to CTD the server in the log file, or perhaps even a crash file. I'll look to see if someone linked one earlier... but if not, could someone upload one?1 point

Ребяты какого хрена тут спорить ??? Во первых инфа о серии легенд давно уже была. Кто новостями интересуется не должен быть удивлён. Во вторых не понимаю чему вы удивлены ? что нза наезды ?? )) Думаете что рус комьюнити ED КОРМИТ ?? Смешно.. Сам хошу грачей и 27го и т.д.. думаю и за бугром многие хотят.. )) Лично мне любой крафт от ЕD интересен. реально этоже их первый поршневик ! По мне так просто кайф ! ))) Единственное так это то что "пострелять" будет не по кому.. не реалистично... Но как только увидел скрины тут захотелось запустить сий аппарат )) Что не говори ED тут лучшие )) Проработанно всё что только можно. Ловите кайф ибо этого вы не получите нигде ! ))1 point

Парни, команда делает очередной охренительный крафт, а вы недовольны. Хотя бы для пилотажа. Поверьте, пройдет немного времени и каждый получит то, на чем предпочитает летать. Я думал этой теме будут только положительные коменты, а тут все как обычно какие-то сопли и недовольства. Извините если кого-то обидел ненароком.1 point
