Rudel_chw started following [Wish] Add PARAMETERS for remaining gun ammo , Static Objects Folder , Mixture, Supercharger and Prop Angle setting? and 3 others

use the combined joint task forces blue and red, to be free from country restrictions, seems easier than modding dcs.

Hello, Some values of this chart do not match the limits shown on the gauges, for example: Oil Temp: Redlined at 115 C° instead of 100, minimum shown at 30 instead of 40 C°. Normal range (blue) reaches up to 110 instead of 80 C°. Fuel Press: On the gauge shows redline at 6 rather than 18. Oil Press: On the gauge is redlined at 85 instead of 100. They should match, to make it easier to respect the engine limits. Eduardo

Don’t waste your breath explaining things to this kind of user, they need to belittle other’s work so they can feel somewhat better with themselves, I send them straight to the ignore list as I won’t be losing much anyway

Static Template for Kunar and Nuristan FOB's
Rudel_chw replied to PeneCruz's topic in Missions and Campaigns
place it at /saved games/dcs/StaticTemplate/ if the folder doesn’t exist, create it manually. -
look at the Fuel Pressure gauge, the last patch modified it to show water pressure instead. It should show a positive value when its working:

You are correct, didn't think of that .. on my mission I intend to use X:COCKPIT triggers to inspects these parameters that the Module offers: Eduardo

Thanks, really nice for using when exploring the aircraft limits. I'm currently on the first stages of editing a training mission for Engine management, using a Climb to 25,000 feet as a fixed situation to be able to monitor it using triggers. My purpose is to learn the proper use of all controls: Super Charger, cooling flaps, throttle, mixture, with the mission reminding me of operating the blower properly as we climb, learn to keep an eye on temps, etc. To give a worthwhile mission objective and add a sens of urgency, I intend to record the time it takes to get to 25,000, the less time the higher the score because of this, I wonder if you could add to the script some engine management parameters, like cyl temp, oil temp, etc ... it would help me a lot while I develop my mission, as reading the gauges while flying makes me kind of lose focus on my aircraft handling best regards, Eduardo

You maybe are confusing with the F4U-4 specs, the F4U-1 only did 378 mph at 20,000ft. Source: https://www.wwiiaircraftperformance.org/f4u/f4u.html

Liveries may be redundant to you, but please do not speak for everyone else: For me, liveries add much for immersion on my own missions, as I strive to use the most appropiate liveries, so in addition to what ED gives us at CoreMods I also download extra liveries from User Files:- 48 replies

I'm so glad that I don't have to purchase them, I get to employ them for free on my own missions as either enemy or allied AI aircrafts and assets.- 48 replies

Please Address Game Bloat from CoreMods & Excessive Liveries
Rudel_chw replied to celestHawk's topic in DCS Core Wish List
This theme of removing liveries to accomodate people with smaller storage cames up every few months, and its not laziness but rather I find that any such scheme will not really eliminate the cause of the problem, as a few extra GB will not solve much if your drive is too small. On my DCS the biggest use of space come from the Maps, not CoreMods: almost 1/3 storage space is used by my maps, 1/4 is on CoreMods, 1/5 on aircraft Modules. Even if all coremod liveries were removed, I would only recover around 1/6 of the space ... so, I don't find the effort truly worthwhile.- 48 replies

Please Address Game Bloat from CoreMods & Excessive Liveries

Totally agree, most of the suggestions here will inconvenience those that have an appropiate amount of storage, in order to allow an unknown quantity of users to employ a smaller SSD drive.- 48 replies

seems you have excellent internet bandwidth, but I see many people that wouldn’t have enough bandwidth to play.- 48 replies

The Corsair provides quite a lot of useful Parameters to use with the X:COCKPIT PARAM IN RANGE trigger condition, like: COWL_FLAPS_LEVER CYLINDER_HEAD_TEMPERATURE FUEL_FLOW FUEL_PRESSURE FUEL_PUMP FUEL_SELECTOR FUEL_TANK_MAIN HYDRAULIC_PRESSURE INTERCOOLER_DOORS_INDICATOR INTERCOOLER_LEVER MAGNETS MANIFOLD_PRESSURE OIL_COOLER_DOOR_INDICATOR OIL_COOLER_LEVER OIL_PRESSURE OIL_TEMPERATURE PITOT_HEAT PITOT_TUBES_STATUS PRIMER RPM_DIAL RPM_NEEDLE WATER_PRESSURE However, there is none providing information on the ammunition remaining for the guns, would it be possible to add Parameters with this info? It could be one for total ammunition, but more flexible would be to have the info separately for each gun, Also, an indicator denoting if a Gun is jammed would be really useful when editing training missions. Thanks for the great warbird, I'm truly enjoying learning it. Cheers, Eduardo
