  1. if you are flying a custom campaign (those you download from user files), then of course you need those campaigns files, not just the logbook. here is a sample entry of the logbook: [43] = { ["created"] = "Wed Nov 5 20:14:29 2025", ["player"] = "Rudel-chw", ["campaign"] = "./Mods/aircraft/JF-17/Missions/Campaigns/Operation Black Bear (by JonathanRL)/OperationBlackBear.cmp", ["status"] = "Active", ["history"] = { [1] = { ["datetime"] = "Wed Nov 5 20:16:22 2025", ["aaKills"] = 0, ["agKills"] = 0, ["stage"] = 1, ["deathsCount"] = 0, ["result"] = 50, ["mission"] = "Mission1.miz", }, -- end of [1] [2] = { ["stage"] = 1, ["mission"] = "Mission1.miz", }, -- end of [2] }, -- end of ["history"] }, -- end of [43] to restore this on other pc, you need: the cmp and miz files, and the campaign path must be the same.
  2. its not hidden, the diff.lua is created automatically by dcs when you do your first mouse binding on the controls page. No file simply means that you have never defined such binding.
  3. it's not a variant, but a modernization of the 21 bis and 21 mf, used by a single country from 1990 onwards, frankly I would be more excited with a vietnam era fishbed.
  4. we? .. I am satisfied that the map exists at all, my wish would be to have the map extended to include a bit more of the Baltic sea, but I am happy with it even if my wish is never granted
  5. Im on a two week trip atm, will check it once I return back home
  6. thanks a lot for this update I will refresh my bk90 use and take advantage of your tips as soon as I get back on the viggen
  7. yes, but that fact was disclosed after release, so I used my savings on the Hercules instead.
  8. I purchased this aircraft as soon as @Someoneconfirmed it would not be encrypted, but I will be happy whenever its released I don’t care how long it takes
  9. Hello all, I found on YouTube a very didactic approach to teaching the flight essentials on DCS, employing the MB339 but with lots of concepts applicable to any aircraft. Haven’t seen it on the Forum, so I’m adding it here … if you find the videos worthwhile please subscribe to Mike’s channel to encourage him to continue. Regards, Eduardo

  10. what a hateful thing to say, didn’t you check the map update released on october?
  11. Try this: at /saved games/missioneditor/ there is a file settings.lua … rename it to settings.bak, then run dcs again and open the mission editor, does the problem persists?
  12. Sorry to bother you Agree, will ignore your serious questions from now on.
  13. +1 same for me, I truly don't care which map other people use, or what's popular. When I'm starting to edit a new mission series, I simply pick whichever Map strikes my fancy, for example at the moment I'm editing missions for the Mirage 2000 and chose to base them on the Sinai Map, as Egypt is a real user of the M2000 .. it was a close tie with basing them on the Persian Gulf, as the UAE also flies the M2000
  14. the historic filter is a clock thingy on the editor's status bar, if it's white it's enabled, if it's hollow then it's disabled
  15. Most likely its to prevent (or at least alleviate) the denial-of-service attacks, only registered users can view the forum content .. it doesn't bother me. Now it seems the Forum Admin is rebuilding the Forum index, maybe it got corrupted during the attack ... unfortunately a search index rebuild takes a long time, probably over a dozen hours.
