  1. I understand it to be Power over Ethernet.
  2. I watched a youtube vid and found the wise cleaner he mentioned at the end to be extremly good, used to have the odd glitch and minor stuterring when looking sideways in VR. No longer!
  3. I am in awe of people who can do this...................awesome!
  4. I have this, is it what you mean? null
  5. Not sure you're right there. I use a program called The Way and it works fine.
  6. +1 on the Globular Cluster mod fine investment on the original pads.
  7. I found that I had to remove/delete the HF8 software from my system for SSA to work.
  8. If you have DLSS swapper - in settings DLSS Developer Options - Show on screen Indicator to None
  9. I think you are sir. I just used DLSS swapper for ease. Along with NVIdia Inspector to get in my case J
  10. I have the Quest Pro coupled with a 4090 and as far as I'm concerned it's the bees knees!
  11. Quest Pro for me too! Coupled with a 4090, Virtual Desktop and Globular Cluster headstrap and pads.
  12. Yes still working.
  13. I no longer have to run a batch file to to remove the images file in saved games folder. I don't know why but DCS runs ok now.
  14. Definately working ok now, booted up and got into the game with no freezes, normally happened after about 10secs. Log file attached. dcs.log
  15. Not sure because the problems were still there yesterday with the saved games folder on the C drive. I'll try again now this time shutting down the computer first. Will report back in a few minutes.
  16. Yes, during the debacle I found the saved games folder used by the game pointing to an "N" drive. This is an external SSD for backups etc. So I moved back to the C drive. I have just been starting and stopping DCS this morning , three times in a row and it has booted normally today. Before I had to always use my batch file to remove the images file before each start. So not sure whats going on now.
  17. If @Mordants is deleting the ImagesShop folder then in theory when it is recreated it should only contain the ones with %20 and no duplicated ones with spaces. This is the file from scratch populated at the start before selecting the mission. The saved games file for me is C:\Saved Games\DCS\ImagesShop Here is the image file.
  18. I did both but could not boot into the game having encountered the "freeze" scenario. So basically failed at the first hurdle and then the grief started.
  19. That’s the result I had after my earlier test. Sorry to have not been around earlier to answer your queries. Will have to do this tomorrow now.
  20. Try this one F-16C_50.lua Here is the github repository DCS-ExportScripts/Scripts/DCS-ExportScript/ExportsModules at master · asherao/DCS-ExportScripts · GitHub
  21. I did that and the game ran normally which shows that those files with the %20 are the problem. On inspecting the folder after quitting showed the %20 files automatically readded along with the file names amended. The next attempt then showed the amended renamed files removed and the %20 remaining. The freeze reappeared as "not responding"
  22. It was just a suggestion that is easy to do based on some research. The option is yours entirely.
  23. I have had freezing recently with others. Try deleting Images Shop Folder in Saved Games and try again.
  24. I deleted those files and tried again, still freezes. Also put in an older "Images Shop" file from a backup. Still freezes for me.
  25. Just a bugger to find this thread already here when I started mine. But hey ho i'll try your fix now we now what the snag is.
