  1. Do they know what went wrong? R.I.P. to the crewmembers
  2. Who would want to do that? :D
  3. Jeremy Clarkson FTW!:D
  4. So was that just the missile that hit the ground? That looked/sounded like a pretty serious explosion.
  5. Oh gawd. OH GAWD!! It just gets worse and worse! :puke:
  6. I glanced through this and saw this line: What? Ailerons to steer on the ground?
  7. Attracted to something other than human, are we? :megalol:
  8. Don't worry about it, Friday is just getting started where I am.
  9. Depends which one you get. The BU0836X has screw connections, and the BU0836 has pins. However, you solder your wires to connectors (separate from the board) and then plug them in, so the iron is not right next to the board, which is pretty small.
  10. I like the idea, but I kinda have to agree with GG in terms of what it's called.
  11. @Deadman: I'm an engineering student, I reverse engineer things in my head all the time.:D @MILSTD: I got most of the documents I have from http://www.everyspec.com/library.php I attached a list of what I have. Some of it is completely useless, and not all of it I got from everyspec. Directory of Mil Standards.doc
  12. Interesting. I'll agree that several hundred pounds of angry animal and horns is not easy to deal with.
  13. Thanks for the info. I haven't really researched the cost of getting a real panel. Bur the reverse-engineering will still be an interesting exercise.:)
  14. Yeah, getting between a mother and her baby usually doesn't end well. What provisions are there to keep them off the aircraft movement areas?
  15. But it's an F-16.:smilewink:
  16. This could either be the result of the pilot being dumb/stupid or distracted. I wonder which. They were really lucky that time.
  17. How did the moose even make it that far onto the base? Or even on the airfield at all?
  18. Dude, thanks! Now I can reverse-engineer the thumbwheel assemblies.
  19. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't for the reasons that you list. Also, AFAIK, the extinguishing agent used destroys the engine.
  20. You can find instructions for moving in-cockpit displays to another monitor in this thread:http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=70716. However, I have no idea about hardware.
  21. That's some pretty intense stuff. I'd hate to have to fly against that.:joystick:
  22. :D:megalol:
  23. So much for the parts idea.
  24. Of course not, he's just getting started!:D
