Depends which one you get. The BU0836X has screw connections, and the BU0836 has pins. However, you solder your wires to connectors (separate from the board) and then plug them in, so the iron is not right next to the board, which is pretty small.

Thanks for the info.:thumbup: I haven't really researched the cost of getting a real panel. Bur the reverse-engineering will still be an interesting exercise.:)
