  1. The only "news" site I frequent is AVweb. You can find some pretty interesting aerospace tech news from the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, or AIAA, and their publication called Aerospace America. And for casual listening I pull up the LiveATC feeds for KBOS, which is the closest "interesting" airport to me.
  2. Alright, I'll be nice and let ONE slide. Next time though, you've had it.......:D
  3. Two people in a portable toilet? Ewwwwww...........

    PPL Tips?

I myself was just about to go for my PPL test before college got in the way. I can't really offer any advice/anecdotes about the Warrior, as I flew a 172. If you don't already know about them, here's a link to the flight training page of the UK division of the Aircraft Owners and Pilot's Association: http://www.aopa.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=59&Itemid=66 I'm a member over here on the other side of the pond, and they are a fantastic resource for pilots of all skill and experience levels. Oh, and remember: keep the shiny side up and the rubber side down! Tailwinds! :pilotfly:
  5. I spy a Garmin G1000 MFD screenshot there.:music_whistling:
  6. Did a stuck brake cause the issue to begin with?
  7. Ah, OK I didn't realize it worked that way. But that's still a very large database of parts.
  8. Holy Sh*t! That's a LOT of stuff!:surprise:
  9. Maybe buddy refueling with the F-18 will be modeled?
  10. If it weren't for the family gathering, I would have gone to that. Thanks for the pics, they're going straight to the hard drive.
  11. Hey, if you like it, then that's your deal. I think I'm going to use the unsimulated switches to perform simulator functions unrelated to flying the plane.
  12. That sh*t is weird, man.

    DCS:Spider

:megalol: Especially since its the same color as the poisonous ones.
  14. I don't think so, because I can see that the nose gear panels are sill in place, as are the panels that cover the main gear legs. Maybe they took panels off the bottom so the water would drain faster?
  15. :D That sounds about right.
  16. But the fuel system diagram shows the vent line going overboard. Also, in The Modern Hog Guide, it is noted that the overboard fuel vent is under the rear fuselage, between the engines.
  17. I have no clue.:D

    1.1.0.9??

You hit the nail on the head, bro. Or sis, as the case may be.
  22. Ooooo.......Shiny! Very good detail there. If you aren't getting paid for that, then you should be.:D
  23. I had no intention of minimizing the loss of the pilot of the blimp or the skill and courage that both pilots displayed.
