  1. Thanks you.
  2. Hi, I received tha following coordinates from JTAC PA118719 and convert it with an android app to create the waypoint 10 (targets). The waypoint is correclty positioned on the HSI, but the MGRS coordinates are totally wrong. Is someone confirm that is still WIP ? Thanks, Vincent

    Laser JDAM ?

Hi, The NAVMC 3500.50C include the use of laser JDAM. Will the laser JDAM be available for the F/A-18C ? Thanks, Vincent
  4. Hi, I tried with the laser Maverick, but the laser spot does not appears on the MAV DSPLY. My mistake, follow the Chuck guide, it works.
  5. Hi, Coordinates from TPOD to JDAM is working, I am an idiot, I was not using the correct HOTAS button. Sorry about that.
  6. Hi, Just to clarify, the JDAM manual says : TOO coordinates may be created or updated in the F/A-18C/D using waypoint designation, HUD indications, FLIR or radar. Coordinates cannot be entered manually. So, is it possible or am I miss something , Thanks.
  7. Not sure about that, I am the feeling that the upward moment due to flaps extension is more smooth. Or I just me as I get used to anticipate the pitch up effect.
  8. Hi, Just came back to work with JDAM. The copy/paste of coordinate and elevation does not work for me. I am in TOO mode and the key binding is correct. The only mod I have is the 476th objects, last version. The copy/paste from the TPOD to the JDAM was working few month ago, I am just wonder if something change on recents updates ? Thanks, Vincent
  9. I was really surprised about this post, and have a try. Edit : sorry, just tested with the AIM-9X only payload, and the aircraft is banking on the correct side when inverted. That required some more test with different weapons. Edit 2 : Tested with the following config : STA1 AIM-9M STA2 AIM-120B STA3 AIM-7M STA4 AIM-120C STA5 FPU-8A Fuel Tank 330 Gallons STA6 AIM-120C STA7 AIM-7M STA8 AIM-120B STA9 AIM-9M After firing an AIM-9M, the aircraft behaviour is still correct, banking in the correct side.
  10. thanks, I didn't kow there was a post already.
  11. Hi, Look at the attached screenshots. The AIM-120 is still giving a alert even when looking down on a 1vs1 engagement. I am not a missile specialist, but I would be surprised that the AIM-120 own radar is capable of looking in that direction. Brgds, Vincent.
  12. Ah, great, thanks for the answer Bignewy. For the first point, what could be the solution ? Revert to RWS ?
  13. Hi, - In TWS mode, the radar locked a friendly aircraft, unable to undesignate. - From TWS, I select the AIM-9X, boresight mode then VACQ, but VACQ never comes. Am I doing something wrong ? Thanks
  14. Sound logical, thanks a lot for the post.
  15. At high speed, wake turbulence should light, but it is not the case currently. I set the option off for the moment
  16. I understood that during those flights test. Like a lot of people, including myself, using LGB assure a target destroyed. This is not always the case. Too much realistic... lol (for a real pilot like me)
  17. That is correct, for my mission, I used real weather condition from archive : 201810112358 METAR KLSV 112358Z 01019KT 10SM CLR 24/09 A2979 RMK AO2A PK WND 01029/01 SLPNO T02430087 10260 20239 53002= 6000ft 220/57 FL240 260/97 The ME give automatically 190°/41kts at 1600ft, which is a quite high component. When I fly a heading of 280 to align the FPV with the fall line, the LGB is influence more by lower layer wind at 1600ft. I try again with a heading of 010°, so I have to correct my heading for the wind component and anticipate the moment I have to drop the bomb (which is indicated by the fall line and the timing), but the bomb have a better correction on the lower layer and fall very close to the target, enought to destroy it. I am always surprised how DCS can be so realistic. I am still curious to know if there is a wind limitations for LGB ? Thanks for all suggestions and have a good day;
  18. So, i tried with no wind, and the bomb is hitting the target. The wind seems to be the problem. When is the bomb supposed to correct for the wind ? Seems that the LGB bombs are not able to correct for the wind component. Is there a wind limitations for those kind of bombs ?
  19. Yes. By the way, I posted some tracks to check. I tried also with GBU-16 and -10, and those bombs have the same flight path.
  20. Hi, I don't know if you can see that on tracks, but I observed the bomb maneuvering to the target. 15 seconds TTI, I set the laser ON and the bomb attempt to capture the laser point, but still not flying to the target. The bomb try to correct the impact point in the last few hundred feet, 2-3 seconds before impact, and obviously unable to hit the target. I hope this help.
  21. Hi, To answer those question first : - The waypoint is not designated (not boxed), not necessary for LGW, - I am first release the weapon and then lase the target 15 seconds TTI (I have tried also 20, 25 and 30 seconds) - I have tried to spot the base and the middle of the vehicle Here's a track with the stable version, giving the same result : https://drive.google.com/open?id=16gqV7866KOeG3aBYSzlpxdFvyvXuKe5X This is not caused by the wind because the bomb always falling on the left and slightly after the target, independently of the attack direction.
  22. Thanks, I will try again. Just one thinks : I have entered the laser code for the station 1, use step to go to station 2 and enter the code and I did not come back to station 1, but stay on station 2. Then the bomb did not release. I have tried a second time by selecting the station 1 after the procedure, and the bomb released. So, I will try again and post a track, but maybe it is a start. EDIT : The selected station should not be the cause, I tried several time from the second station, and the bomb is dropping. The bomb does not hit the target however. Track attached in the correct discussion.
  23. Hi, Just a screenshot to show the result. I hope for a fix this December. Thanks to the team. Track : https://drive.google.com/open?id=1G95f9dz5100zfLhVSUQ1HYzig3dycB37 I was thinking about a reflexion of the laser illuminated by the target, so I attack them from the other side (and also because the FLIR screen is readible, he!) Track 2 : https://drive.google.com/open?id=1P_8CW5QVjEPKKIEtBaLX4wqC_E9eas9H Same result : the first bomb always fall next to the target, the second bomb hit the ground at the same position. Now, question : is 21000ft AGL too high for a laser to illuminate correctly ? I just tried at 15000ft AGL and have the same result. Thanks
  24. Hi, Just happen to me in single player missions. When pushing the release button, the fall line flash once, but the bomb does not drop. That was fine on the same mission yesterday, same procedure to configure aircraft and weapons.
