  1. Hi, Is someone know if there is a standard call-out given by the tanker in real life to signify to aircraft refueling that is going to start the turn in a racetrack? Thanks Vincent
  2. Hi, Reducing the audio size from 80mo to 22mo without lose of quality solve the problem. No need of the 10 seconds delay anymore. Thanks all for your suggestions.
  3. Hi, I have tried the 10 seconds delay, and it works, but it take few minutes for the audio to start due to its size probably. Maybe something prevent (unintentionnaly) large audio to start if the mission is demanding in term of PC ressource. I din't know why, probably a bug, ceating a 1vs1 mission in TTR requires a lot of ressource! So, I reduces the size of the audio file, from 88mo to 20mo without reducing the quality, and I will try as soon as I get back to home.
  4. I have had some times to try to convert som audio and insert them in a mission. So,I have converted a .ogg of +/-80Mo to a .ogg of 22Mo to simulate the ATC. Ihave also the three messages recorded by myself. When the mission start on the ground, no problem. When the mission start in-flight : 1. No ATC can be heard 2. I flew to the center of the trigger that transmit the ATC, but still not sound 3. Sometimes, one of the 3 messages I have recorded cannot be heard. It is not the same message each time, that is why I think about a conflict somwhere 4. I have left the three messages I have recorded to be heard first, then I switch to the ATC frequency, but still no sound Weird, isn't it ?
  5. Ok, very good, thanks for advices. I will have a look at the audio file to reduce the size, but it will take some times (working!). Concerning the line of sight, do you mean that the trigger translmitting the audio take account of the altitude (peak of hill) ? Thanks once again, i will keep you informed.
  6. Hi, Sorry, the mod installed is the 476th objects. I have tried 317.5 but I still can't hear the radio transmission. The other frequency use 254.4 does not work either. I am still convinced that the problem comes from in-flight start. I have another mission starting on ground, and I will have a try.
  7. Hi, Here's the link to the mission. Frequencies are in the briefing. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1CyUl-tDrOfRCmL-1Z2Xrbt88acJ3h4bM How do set the frequency in cockpit parameters ? I didn't find the options. Thanks a lot.
  8. Hi, Thanks for the reply. I am agree that using sound or transmit is quite easy, but it simply does not work. See my triggers in attached. If I push play on the mission editor, there is no sound at all. If I listen the sound with VLC or playing the sound in missions where I start on the ground with engine running, I can hear the sound. In my opinion, the problem is coming when I start the mission in the air. I have tried also via Advanced Waypoint action, but no sound at all. If you want to try the mission, I can give google drive link.
  9. I also tried to transmit a message from a waypoint vie tha Advanced waypoint action, but I can't hear anything. Any ideas ? Thanks
  10. and once again the same discussion...
  11. Hi, The A/A TACAN does not work with the 104Y. Any ideas why ? According to the attached table, it should work. Thanks. Edit : sorry, my mistake. TCAN was activated only from the point 1, so I was looking to reach the TACAN too earlier. Channel 104Y is working well.
  12. Hi, I have recorded some real ATC audio to include as radio transmission in missions (with a frequency and a trigger). It works great. however, on some missions where the airplane start in the air, I cannot hear the radio transmission (I am within the range). I have also included some audio recorded by me (use of trigger sound to all). Is the radio transmission does not work because the aircraft start in the air or because there is another audio coming, or both ? Thanks, Vincent Edit : When I use the play button on the ME, I cannot hear the radio transmission. If I reload the file and press play, I can hear the transmission. During the mission, it does not work. Edit 2 : sometimes, even by reloading the file, I cannot hear the transmission! To hear it in the ME, I have to select another audio file, then select the correct one. But still no sound during the mission. Edit 3 : I have removed all audio recorded by myself. Radio transmission are working, sometimes need a few seconds to start. Look like there is a conflict between radio transmission and sound to all when play in the same time. Hope this help.
  13. Very great job guys. I will buy it for sure, even if I am a great fan of the F/A-18.
  14. Hi, I am flying with the F/A-18C. 1. Is it possible to preset UHF radio for an in-flight start ? I have found the marater 39 in devices.lua, but the frequency does not change after several tests. Question 2 : stupide idiot I am, I should use "Sound to all" instead or "Radio transmission". Problem solved. Thanks a lot, Vincent
  15. Answer from collegue (former F-16 pilot) : this is useful in case 2vs1 intercept. The covering aircraft may take a position to intercept the adversary from behind. The principle of the stern conversion is exactly the same, the problem become the precise moment to turn toward the target. Cheers,
  16. Hi, I think I am not the only one, but an option to adjust the HUD FOV would be interesting. Some adjustment with the trackIR are sometimes requires, and this option will be very useful. Thanks, Vincent
  17. Ok, very good, thank you very much. At least, not a bug.
  18. Hi, See the attached picture. When loading only one rocket pod on each wing, the right pod is inside the pylon and the left pod is outside the pylon. Is it normal ar a bug ? Thanks, PS : don't tell me this is not a normal loadout, it is for training only!
  19. I have the problem yesterday. WPDSG on the waypoint, roll toward target, undesignate to revert to CCIP, and the bomb will not drop!
  20. Not complaining at all, but I am not surprised that updates of modules can take some times. I am please to see that the team as a long term vision about the future of DCS, thanks a lot for that. But I think I may plan for a new computer for the next few year!
  21. Set a F-5 in a racetrack, and you will see that the radar can sometimes detect it, and sometimes not, depending of the angle. I am not a specialist of military radar, only the weather radar on my 737, but it seems to be a correct behaviour. But maybe it is still a bug in the radar, not sure.
  22. Several identical correction, I didn't think about that. I will have a try, thank you.
  23. Hi, I would like to set the altimeter on the correct setting when the mission start with the aircraft in the air. So, I found the value 26 on device.lua for the F/A-18, set a trigger "Cockpit Perform Clickable Action" and tried some figures. The problem is : if I set the maximum value 1 or -1, the pressure setting only vary from 29.92 to 29.98 or 29.86. Is it a possibility to set 30.06 for exemple ? Or it is a limitation of the ME ? Thanks, Vincent
  24. Hi, In the CNATRA book 1289, it is wrote that the average turn radius for the T-45 is 6,000ft in diameter. That why offensive/defensive BFM start with 3,000ft, 6,000ft and 9,000ft apart. What about the F/A-18C ? In the NAVMC 3500, 3k, 6k and 9k are still use, but the turn radius of the F/A-18 is less according the A1-F18AC-NFM-200 - NATOPS Flight Manual Performance Charts. I have a try in DCS, and it seems more logical to use 1,5k, 3k and 4,5k. So, can anyone clarify ? Thanks.
  25. Hi, I would like to create a voice from the instructor flying another aircraft. I found audacity very useful, but I am not 100% satisfied with the effect applied to create a realistic radio voice. Any tips ? Thanks,
