  1. I have both the A-8 and D-9, which is the better/more satisfying module to learn. I am learning the K4, P-51 and Mk XI and wondering which module to focus on next. First impression is the D-9 seems pretty benign to learn - is this a reflection on the early FM?
  2. Just watched this video, and not only want to visit Hanger 10, but would like to see the Yak 3. An amazing plane https://youtu.be/xEpdzsIPvp0
  3. Just pre-ordered along with the V3 Mini Desk Mount
  4. Downloaded, installed and set up all very easy and confirm that it works for DCS - buffeting in the Bf-109 before leading edge stall excellent. Suggestion is to have multiple tabs for the force feed back forces, or at least the option of forces based on speed and forces based on effects - but so far very happy - Thank You for this excellent app. Have you uploaded this to the Bruuner Forum? I feel it deserves wider credit
  5. There is the Kantorrin Throttle - more for warbirds and first generation jets. https://www.kanttorinkone.com/console.html
  6. I have a Netgear M1 connected to my home WiFi Mesh via the Synology Router with an O2 data sim. I installed an external 4G/5G antenna beside the satellite dish to get the best reception and to act as a bit of future proofing I can reach downloads in excess of 100 Mbps though I am pretty close to the cell mast. The ping is around 40 ms, so not too bad though do not use for multi player. This compares with 20 Mbps with fibre and a ping of 20 ms. I did try a 3 Sim, which was cheaper and achieved 80 Mbps download with a ping of around 27 ms, but one weekend it was struggling to connect so I cancelled. Vodafone somehow recognises that the SIM is not in a phone and tablet and throttles the connection to around 30 Mbps - if you have Vodafone in your area I recommend VOXI Interesting thing is when you disconnect the broadband not only do you save money on the data contract but you can cancel the landline as well. Doesn't pay for the hardware but during lockdown a family of 5 accessing data was killing the broadband https://www.netgear.co.uk/home/products/mobile-broadband/mobilerouters/M1.aspx?cid=uk-nh-m1-srch-cpc&utm_source=search&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=uk-nh-m1-srch-cpc&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIrJneu-eC7wIVjd_tCh05lQoyEAAYASAAEgKsnfD_BwE
  7. Warbirds from 1941/42/43 on the channel to fly Rhubarbs and Circus's. We have the map so would be good to get the Spitfire Mk V, the Westland Whirlwind (number one wish), the Bf-109 F4 or G2, the FW-190 A3. Typhoon would also be good as was developed to counter the FW-190 in 41/42 The Hellcat is an interesting alternative as it was flown by the Fleet Air Arm over Norway and the Med, though not against the late war warbirds that are available.
  8. Are Slaw Viper RX2 available - when I look at the website it states currently not available. try looking at MFG Crosswind according to Hegykc the new version 3 already has the parts incorporated for add on of Damper. I modded my crosswind to the combat pedals and very satisfied
  9. I am waiting for Modern Naval Warfare as the true successor toDangerous Waters https://mnw.maslasbros.com
  10. I am using the Bf-109 and yes the effexts needed to be increased
  11. All installed now thanks to Chuls, walked me through the installation - I have FFB effects . EArly days yet got to do some trail and error on the force feed back setting, but I can confirm that it works in DCS
  12. I have succesfully installed the pedals and really pleased with them. I found it necessary to recalibrate the brakes with the application from MFG Crosswind site before i could use them. I have not installed the dampers yet - only becuase they have not arrived yet. A question? What is the best position to use them at, I have them near vertical and find that the srat has to nbe a long way back. Any tips and recommendations A questio? Do the small dampers fitted to the brakes need to be charged with oil, or do they just use air damping? Mine have not arrived yet and just want to be prepared An answer. I did not expect that these would make as much difference as they have - I was really looking for the damper option, but the control with ball of the foot and the toes is much easier than the standard Bf-109 arrangement - as cool as that may look. I ahve installed castors with brakes to my office chair so that it may be locked in position to allow for more accurate control, these are a small add on cost from Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B072PS8ZKG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  13. At step 1 I get an error, uploaded brunnerdx.ino and run the check, the tick mark and get the following error
  14. Combat Pedals arrived today - no instructions as to how to install the new brake arm whilst retaining the spring tension. Very disappointed and not at all what I was expecting
  15. I use the RealSimulator F16-RHSG and this is much lighter than the Thrustmaster stick, there is a little hunting for the centre around 1/10th of a mm - but this is not noticeable in any of the games that I use. I also use a 10cm extension to allow for precision. I use the Brunner a lot in Il-2 BOX and also in Prepar3D and never had an issue with thermal protection kicking in Yet to try in a space simulator. Purchased a package for Star Citizen back in 2014 - but have lost a lot of faith in that ever been finished so deleted the installation.
  16. I have orderd the Arduino Micro - hopefully will arrive in a couple of days and then on to the next step for "idiots". If I have any issues, which I am sure I will based on my abilities, I would like to message direcxt
  17. I have the Brunner CLS, and find the application in DCS limited to a joystick with arm effects. Consequently am interested in this approach, however I am not a technician. To make it simple I understand that you get the Arduino Micro and connect that to the PC USB. How do you interface the Arduino Micro to the joystick. If it would be possible to create an "idiots" guide to help out I would appreciate it
  18. Order placed. Most interested in the damper mod to stabilise the pedals for precise adjustment. The website has no options for colours, is the default black?
  19. An interesting teaser with more hints in the text but need to see the final detail. I have the VKB gunfighter and the F14 and KG12 grip and honestly believe that the quality is the best out there. The clutches, to me damping, on the gunfighter is a good innovation and aid the use without being a gimmick, so I am looking forward to the “potential”. As a user quality and functionality beat aesthetics every day, just look at that A10. As another commentator has said please make sure that it fits in the MonsterTech mounts for both the throttle and the add on panels
  20. Make my wife disappear button for $400....where do I get that button
  21. Sold
  22. Joystick Diagrams - an automated application uploaded by rexehuk includes a template for the Control Panel 1. VPC Control Panel #1.svg
