  1. I mayy have generated negativity about the Total Controls Box, that was not my intention. I think that the box is well thought out, well laid out and at a good price in comparison to say the VPC button box. I now appreciate that pledging to kickstarter prior to the closure date is risk free for the pledger, sadly after the closure date there is a risk - something that i have personally experienced on other projects to the tune of several hundred dollars. My overall experience of kickstarter is when the product is released - invariably later than anticipated due to over ambitious planning and quality control (don't do remote quality control it is cheaper but in the end fails, be proactive). My issue is that typically the Rev 2 is released shortly therafter that incorporates all the lessons learned (hopefully) in the initial design and assembly. That is why I am waiting, the product looks a great product and I am prepared to wait for the final release at a higher and more profitable price for the project. Peace out...
  2. So I am looking at the Virpil Mongoose CM2 Throttle as a purchase, primarily to use with simple twin engine jets such as Mig 19, and A-10C Thunderbolt II. Seen a few reviews on youtube and they are generally positive(?). I am not really bothered by afterburner detents. What is the real community feedback on the CM2 Throttle, is it worth the investment over the existing Warthog HOTAS, or am I just as well staying wth the Warthog. I would like a VKB throttle, but I don't think that is happening any time soon
  3. Kickstarter can be a gamble, pay up front to achieve a discount is the reward versus losing the pledge amount. You can wait when the product is released and the early problems ironed out then purchase at additional cost and a few extra months shipping. They will still get the money and with the chance to make some profit
  4. I am definitely interested in acquiring a Realsimulator F16 throttle. The most important thing is the quality it must match the track record and innovation of Realsimulator and not just be a marketing pitch that dilutes the range. With regard to additional flight panel buttons, etc - not interested as I will have this covered with add on button boxes, though a simple level for flaps and a separate level for gear would be accepted. I fully endorse the suggestion of a short/medium stroke that is compatible with MonsterTech desk mounts
  5. Please coumt me as a loyal customer that would purchase the throttle. I understand globalisation to drive down the cost to the consumer, but has COVID not given us a look at the downside of globalisation. I am in the UK (EU?) and would prefer an EU manufactured product even if this has a premium
  6. It is a nice looking panel and ticks a lot of boxes. Looking at the Kickstarter page shows that the funding maybe a challenge, 84 backers. Is there a fall back plan...
  7. Nice looking and at a very attractive price. At the moment this market seems to be attracting lots of attention and there are some good products out there or at least on the horizon. Very very tempted, especially as this is an EU product and to be honest it will fall down to Winwing as to whether I commit, but wish you success with the kickstarter - I have book marked the page
  8. RAF Museum Cosford G2 and some friends.
  9. Prefer the G6 to the K4 any day as it was the most produced variant and was really the only variant used in June `44. However if i could vote I always vote for a F4 or G2 as the pinnacle of the type
  10. I too would be interested in the "dummy" guide for the Brunner CLS-E. Bought one a year ago and have not used anywhere the full potential. Want to use the Brunner as the joystick for propeller aircraft for DCS, and IL2, but so far not managed to get the full potential. The base is large and deep and needs the MonsterTech Mount, which is so large it is uncomfortable to use in centre mount so I use as side mount. No extension as do not see the need for a variable force feedback curve, and the mount is adjustable for height. I have ordered the Realsimulator F16 Custom Edition to use with this for propeller and 1st generation jets, get the dual functionality. But really need to get smarter with the investment
  11. Over the years haver spent a small fortune with Realsimulator, I have pre ordered the F16 Custom Edition Grip for Christmas gift. I would definitely be interested in a single engine jet throttle to add to the collection of dual engine (wining) and single engine propeller (kanttorin on order which should also cover 1st generation jets). The quality and functionality of the products is outstanding, however the cost should not exceed the F16 Custom Edition at 650 Euros not including VAT. My final word are words of caution though, be careful it can be very addictive...
  12. Very nice looking, are they available commercially
  13. Originally was due to be released in August which has drifted into September. Any updates on when they will be finally available, I am hoping soon otherwise will become a Christmas gift
  14. I purchased the Realsimulator F18 grip, but the grip comes with a sleeve collar that would not fit the original Sahaj Extension as the inner diameter of the sleeve collar was less than the outer diameter of the extension. See posting to the forum https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=278859&highlight=realsimulator&page=13 Based on advise I ordered the Virpil 100 mm extension, but again the sleeve collar did not fully go over the extension, unlike other experiences. In the meantime I contacted Sahaj with the pictures, he immediately understood the issue and was able to manufacture a custom dimensioned 100 mm sleeve that arrived yesterday. Fits perfectly and adds that extra precision to the already excellent FSSB R3 base. Excellent focus and a satisfied end user. Would and will use again
  15. Just received the cubism displays for the Thrustmaster MFD and now want to assign the keys on the 2 MFD panels to the same as the A10C and the F/A-18C, and the F-14. Question. Does anyone have the list of actions for each MFD Button so that on pressing the button it generates the same action as the button in game. Tried searching for the list of actions without luck. Anyhelp appreciated
  16. I have the Super Libra as well and like the OP find that there is a significant center play in the pitch direction and not so much center play on the roll direction. Tried adjusting the cams with the very poor manual from Winwing with no success. Can you let me know how you adjusted the cams and the settings to reduce the play. I installed the extension to use with MonsterTech mount and put in the recommended springs - nearly losing a finger in the process they are heavy duty! So would prefer not to have to remove the springs ever again - I even bought a spring puller tool, but the pull was too much and the end deformed. So far because of the play the Super Libra is gathering dust......
  17. I would say around 200 Euros plus shipping. Suspect shipping is expensive due to size and weight
  18. The Kanttorin Kone is priced at 650 Euros plus shipping. Ordered at the beginning of August should be complete at the end of September. See website https://www.kanttorinkone.com/console.html
  19. I have a TM Warthog Throttle for sale, only 1 year old :). Got the Winwing F18 Throttle for 3rd generation jets and ordered the Kanttorin Kone for WW2 and 1st generation jets. Based in the UK
  20. Planning on purchasing when they become available, hoping that the price is reasonable. Have the winning throttle mounted on MonsterTech and am hoping that there will be an adapter developed to install on the table mount either by MonsterTech or by Winning, it would be good if it shipped directly to be installed on MonsterTech.
  21. If you want to spend money there is no better place than RealSimulator. The FSSB R3 Lighting and the F16 Custom Grip will easily take all your budget. I have the FSSB R3 Lighting with the F18 Grip and perfect for Fly By Wire I use this with the Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle and am very happy. I just ordered the F16 Custom Grip and the Virpil TM50 with curved extension for WW2 Propeller (my preference) and just ordered the Kantorin Kone HOTAS http://www.kanttorinkone.com/console.html. I use MFG Crosswind pedals and these are superb for both types Really depends what you fly as to what is best for you, but my experience you will soon run out of cash - on my final red card from the better half
  22. It is the WW2 throttle assembly I am really interested in, especially on a Monstertech style mount
  23. The mounting nut from RealSimulator differs from Thrustmaster in that is includes for a sleeve. This does not fit over extension tubes for the Thrustmaster grip, at least the ones from Sahaj and MFG. Have contacted Sahaj to see if he can alter the design of the extension to suit
  24. A thing of beauty especially on the MonsterTech. Lazy question has anyone developed a key command profile for DCS, or IL-2 BOS for the F18. I also did an inspection on my grip and found the same casting defect in the same location. I do not think the area is highly stressed as it is not subject to much force, that said don't know what the inside looks like.
