  1. Anyone else see an issue with MB-339 running under OpenBeta 2.7? First it asks you if you are running Openbeta or Stable 2.5, I chose OpenBeta and it wouldn't install so I chose standalone 2.5 and it installed just fine into my Save Games folder. Big problem though is that the speedometer doesn't work, it always sits at zero - the other gauges seem to work just fine, but not the speedo.
  2. Thanks @Dauntless I signed in at the DCS web site and under my account was able to hit the Trial button on the first aircraft I wanted to try, and when I next restarted DCS there it was.
  3. Looking at the module manager I only see options to Buy modules, not the ability to download for the 2 week period. Or is this only available if you are using Stable rather than OpenBeta?
  4. If I look 90 degrees right (Track IR) the HMCS center is pretty off to the limit of my left eye view rather than approximately centered in my field of view. Any way to adjust that as it is quite a strain or is this something I need to play with in TrackIR ?
  5. I concur, I came in to post this bug and saw it had been reported already. Very occasionally it stays on the view for a fraction of a second after impact but mostly the view changes on impact. Really miss seeing the effects of CBUs !!!!
  6. I think this is the radar elevation issue mentioned above, the default position on my new Winwing Orion HOTAS is different from my old X56 which was bang on for Sea Radar. On my Orion it is way too high and is looking above the in range shipping. Thanks for the suggestions guys.
  7. Ha! yes that is what I did and almost immediately regretted it when I had these problems. I have played around a bit more and can get the digits to come up and kick off the INS alignment process I think but I don't see a countdown percentage like the old Grim Reapers video shows and have no real clue when/if the alignment has completed.
  8. I have a similar issue, I can't get the digits to come up on the INS display. I have tried 2 different startup procedures (which must be out of data as they came out before 2.7) and nothing works. By accident I did get the display to come up (no idea what I pressed) but even then the number son the keypad did nothing - are they supposed to be animated because they are not moving when I press them - neither do the PREP and DEST buttons. If anyone can point to a Post 2.7 INS alignment tutorial that would be great.
  9. Note this is different from the last report I made about no contacts showing up on Sea Radar. This time it is JUST enemy ships not showing up on Sea Radar. It shows the good guys, but the bad guys are not showing. I can see them visually looking out of the canopy - see screenshot showing the view out of my F18 showing the ships but with nothing on Sea Radar - and they are definitely within the 5 miles I have the scope set to. The TRK file is 34MB so cannot attach it here. I also have a 1GB video file. If you want either of those let me know how to get them to you.
  10. Here you go, thanks. Let me know if you need a video of this. f18_no_sea_radar .trk
  11. I'm trying to fire AGM-65G Mavericks using the DMT. I have it locked in DMT, uncaged on Maverick, target looks to be locked, IRMV in HUD (I have tried with it boxed and unboxed), Master Arm on, AG mode selected - but when I hit the release button nothing at all happens. Anyone think of a step I haven't taken?
  12. For the past week or so when I switch to Sea radar in the F18, though I can see coastline, the display does not show me any actual objects that are in the sea. Cycling between radar modes in AG mode all seems well in the other modes, but when I am looking to engage the enemy ships straight ahead of me, nothing shows I have played with the ranging so it isn't that. I bank my aircraft and head towards the friendly carrier and her escorts and they are not showing either. In the attached images you can see I am 60 miles from the ships, but nothing is shown on the Sea Radar out to 80 miles
  13. I'm in a Harrier with TPOD slinging GBU12s. I have set Waypoints at targets and when starting my approach on the EHSD I press the Designate button to get the TPOD aiming at my waypoint. Sometimes the targeting is a little bit off, but the slew keys don't immediately do anything to where the TPOD is pointing. Pressing anything else seems to reset the TPOD or go back to DMT. All I want to do is to have slew control to9 move the targeting a couple of meters over. What key/HOTAS control lets me do that.? The only time I seemed to stumble across it the slew keys (HOTAS bind actually) traveled in 5 or 10 meter bursts rather than smoothly across the screen.
  14. Since yesterday's patch I can't get the GBU38's to come off the rails when pickling when the in range marker comes over my aircraft. First thing I noticed is that the range was no longer designated by the max and min range circles - now it is a red line with max and min tick marks. Then with Master arm on, TGTS T01 thru T10 assigned from the F10 map imported and applied to the GBU38's with Fuze set to INST, I wait until I am inside the red ranging line and hit pickle and nothing happens ... tap it multiple times, nothing, hold it down, nothing. I'm doing exactly the same thing I did before yesterday's update and it's now broken.
  15. When you are looking for a multiplayer server you can click on the column heading to find servers on a particular map, ping response etc. However once you are in a multiplayer server and selecting a role, you cannot click on the column headings there to sort by Unit Type, Airfield etc. I hear this all the time on multiplayer where people are trying to co-ordinate to a particular airfield and then try and find an aircraft that they have access to. The two most obvious are, I want to fly from a particular airfield (near my buddies or near the enemy), or I have a Huey I want to fly, why do I have to scroll from top to bottom just to check where they might be, better to be able to group them together and then see which airfield is closest to where I want to be. This seems like an easy fix.
  16. Here is a 2nd example, right window of canopy shot out, visible from the inside, not from the outside.
  17. Small arms damage I suffered in my Huey is visible from inside the helicopter but you can't see anything if you look at the external F2 view.
