I made the first few (6?) without just the stock game plus the A-4 Mod so that anyone would be able to play the missions without making any investment in the games. I'll have to go back and see when I started using the WWII assets. I think the mission you are referring to might be the "Flight to the Flak Factory". Easy enough to bump that up in the queue of missions to make. Anyone else out there have a favourite video they would like to see converted to a mission?

Mission 4 Available Hi All, The fourth mission - Iron Hand - is now up on the user files site. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3311948/ The main mission in this one is pretty easy (if you fly the assigned route), but getting any of the launchers with your rockets will test your ability to avoid low level AAA fire. It CAN be done though as this video attests.

BTW - there has been a fair bit of interest in the missions behind the A-4E videos. Which I can understand because there is not a lot of content for the A-4E. There is a lot more content out there for the Harrier. Is anyone interested in seeing these missions produced so you can try them yourself? I would try to use the same system as the Haiphong Harbour missions. They would be short, focussed on a particular tactic or procedure, and would provide you with a score at the end of the mission so it would be easy to practice and improve. Let me know what you think.

The Good (sic) Landing Vertical Landing in the AV8B is, so far, one of the toughest things I have tried to do in DCS. So, it's all the more rewarding when it finally works... sort of.

We made a few changes after he flew - mainly we made it a few minutes later so the final version is a bit darker. I also fixed the bug in the scoring (did you catch it?). Also, the final version has an option for the player to ask for a smoke marker to find the target. It can be a bit tough to see the first couple of times you go looking for it.
