  3. Yeah I quite like the TACAN in the Harrier for that reason, its almost like having a data link.
  4. Just use the TACAN freq provided, you'll get all the information you need off that, no need to do anything more that that.

  6. On the next DCS update. I've put a fix in for each mission, but ED have also fixed their end. I don't have a date I can share I'm afraid, that will be up to ED's patch schedule.
  7. Hi, last patch broke AI orbit tasks so the AI won't be released from their orbits. Fix will be in the next patch.
  8. It will just be making sure no SAM is active, there is a pop up SA-6 plus the two SA-2s and the SA-3 as you mentioned (SA-8 won't affect things). Would be hard to figure out what happened without more information, but sounds like for whatever reason a SAM has not been triggered as as inactive. There aren't any other surprises in the mission other than the SA-6.
  9. I think so, can't promise you won't run into any issues, but I can't think of anything critical that would be missing except for some comms degradation.

  11. Hmm sounds odd, I wouldn't say FIWOS is any heavier than Cerberus North is terms of units, and it's obviously the same map. Do you have TACVIEW enabled? that can be a resource hog on the bigger campaign missions. in terms of upgrades, more RAM would be my advice.
  12. I assume you mean Woody (your wingman) not Poodle. but yes I'm seeing the same in a few missions. Last week's update seems to have affected the release of the orbit task, already fixed ready for the next patch.

  16. A few hints, terrain is your friend when it comes to the SAMs, once they go active I usually descend to under 10,000 feet so that if they launch I can easily drag the missiles into the ground. There's lots of hills/valleys in the area so the terrain is very useful here. As for the Flankers...
  17. I wonder if you just clipped the zone around the runway? I'll check it's size.
  18. You can set your bullseye simply in the DED, it is populated automatically in the aircraft, no need to worry about steerpoints. All you need do is hit LIST on the ICP, then 0 (for more) and 8 (for BULLS), the press 0 M-SEL to highlight bullseye in the DED. Your bullseye is now set and will be visible in the HSI/radar etc. BTW, Portal is the same for both campaigns, but it's listed in the SPINS should you ever need the coordinates, not that you should.

  20. I think that's just really bad luck on the timing. The missions are very dynamic in their design, with multiple different game systems all working independently of each other, but also impacting on one another. So in this mission the SAM activation/deactivation has a number of variables in, affected by what you've done in the mission. All that is to say it can be very difficult to adjust the timing on these things as there are so many variables at play. I will however have a look to see if I can adjust anything, just no promises.
  21. Glad you enjoyed! Yeah the ATC was a bit basic, which made me want to enhance it for all my later campaigns, learend lots from making this one for sure!

  23. Ah ok good to hear, could never reproduce or pin down this one so was hoping that for those having the problem the recent updates had solved it. Glad you're enjoying!
  24. Have Bug send a HARM to give you a window to attack. Attack from the west, I recommend looping wide to the west around the airbases (Damascus IAP and Marj Ruhayill) to avoid those threats and then toss a GBU-38 at the radar as soon as you can.
