OK perfect-I see that you have english piloting manual with checklist of ASP. I have the checklist for technician of weapon systems,but it is wrote by czech. Do you want to see it?

Well,but which one do you mean?The real ASP,or this from simulation?You know, real gunsight is not a toy,so you can not switch what you want and testing gunsight from simulation ispointless for now.

GROUND-1-true GROUND-2-true-but zero must be set manualy.In bombing mode, switch AUT-MAN must be always set to MAN GROUND-3-false-in this case must be set proper angle for RKT(S-5M/K, S-24)Weapon selector has not effect on settings. AIR-1-true AIR-2-false-weapon selector has not effect on settings.There is possibility to fire S-5M(only) on air target in cooperation with DUAS 61-14,whitch is used for measurement of complimentary angle of attack and angle of side slip.In flight there will be always deviation from zero.

Hi Harle, IRL we must set: AIR-GROUND to GROUND pos. F-B to F pos. GUN-RKT as required AUT-MAN to AUT poss. MSL(SS)-GYRO to MSL(SS) poss. Now ASP will be set proper value of auxiliary aiming angle,according to GUN-RKT possition and of course according to balistic unit(box) which is inserted to analo.computer(early variant),or balistic switch(later variant) So,when we set AUTO-MAN to MAN poss.and we set any angle value,after switching to AUTO aux.aim.angle will be set to possition according to GUN-RKT awitch.

They are used by technicians,when A/C is under maintenance or repair at maintenance unit.This overlayed cover is fastened by four screws,so it is not easily accessible by the pilot.

Hi, No,start-up procedure will be the same,because they are always in ON position,when A/C is prepared for flight(flightline).Often they are overlayed by perspex cover. ON position mean, that they are upward.

Sorry guys,but this discussion is more-less worthless,because sight(ASP-21-PFD)in this simulation does not represented real sight. In real life a pilot has at one's disposal a bomb charts.There he can find proper values of A/C speed,height,dive angle.Next, there is value of aiming angle,which he must set on sight,by rotation knob on right side(ANGLE SCALE). The switches on head of sight must be set in: B,MAN and SS position-nothing more.

Hm,real ASP-21-PFD does not have CCIP mod.In 1.2.16 is bombing mod algorithm very probably borrowed from SU-25A(FC3)aircraft.
