  1. Comm menus open fine from your mission on my end. Do you have VAICOM?
  2. When you just enable and disable any of the autopilot mode, but not disengage the autopilot, it dampens the controls.
  3. Even with conserving the laser as much as I can, it only lasts 1.5 sorties for me. Fire all Vikhrs, rockets, and some gun runs. Go back and rearm. Then laser burns out on 4th or 6th Vikhr. So whenever a mission requires me to rearm, I do a repair. I'm not sure if this is changed or not but if you break your helo and then repair, laser cycle resets. Using the fire extinguisher on the right panel is easiest way to break your helo and initiate repair.
  4. Sorry, it's not like they locked just a few files. Entire shader folder is off limits now. Not much I can do. I left the MP version links for those running older DCS version. I don't think I will bother making any IC compatible versions going forward for any of my mods unless situation changes.
  5. What about 3 stages of smoke then. Pilot model was an example to make a point. I can list about 3 thousand other coding examples instead. Let's not dwell on the example. And the point was about resource allocation. That more resource should be allocated to AI. Not that AI team is working on modeling.
  6. Noticed another thing today. When I quit while looking at FLIR, it momentarily blinks to what looks to be correct FLIR. I put together a video below. What's interesting to me is that nothing else changes. Terrain, trees, cockpit... nothing changes. Only FLIR changes during that 1 frame blink.
  7. I think at this point, we are asking that it needs to be "priority" rather than just "working on it". AI and weapon damage model are more important than high resolution pilot model.
  8. There are still no tank/vehicle/helo dust in MT. But that's not issue of this mod. It doesn't exist in default MT either. Otherwise, mod seems to be functioning fine for me in MT. I haven't used it in ST for a while so can't say if there are any issues.
  9. Cursor will show up if you click the mouse button. Problem is that mouse click still works while cursor is invisible so you might accidentally press things trying to bring up the cursor. There is a workaround if you use Voice Attack. And while flying, it's best to use your head to point the cursor at what you want to press and have a mouse button mapped to your HOTAS. I only use mouse to move the cursor during startup.
  10. I think equipment matters. I couldn't do it with X52 Pro and once I switched to Gladiator NXT, it became easy all of sudden. VR helps a ton with depth perception. And try to find your own method that works for you. I watched a lot of videos and all of them said focus on the pylon/tanker and basket in peripheral vision. Took me a while to realize the reverse worked for me. I focus on the basket and have the tanker in peripheral vision. And boom to me is easier as it's like formation flying to me. Everyone's different.

  12. So they put cockpit textures in CoreMods? Since I can't test the cockpit, all I can recommend is doing what you did for gazelle owners. Delete the gazelle texture from the mod. Thanks for bringing it up tho.
  13. Which part of gazelle? I don't have Gazelle so I can only view it in Encyclopedia and seems to look fine with core.
  14. I used to use OneDrive for this but I've seen OneDrive causing 100% CPU spikes so I only turn on sync when I need something backed up. But then if I do that, I wondered how that's different than local backup. So I don't use it at all anymore. I also support cloud backup built into DCS.
  15. Explains the randomness and huge discrepancy. Multiplayer is not a good place to run benchmarks due to too many variables.
  16. Current version of DCS is not a good version to test it on as it has load time issue not related to textures. And as I stated in first post, more VRAM will be saved with heavier mission. If your test mission only uses 6.35GB default, I'm assuming it's pretty empty and there's not much object to save VRAM from.
  17. Seems to me like you have unstable internet. I don't know what else to tell you. Download is working fine on my end.

  19. All of them. Windows temp, your browser temp (not cookies and passwords). If a download always fails at same point, it might be the unfinished download in your temp folder is corrupted.
  20. Try emptying all temp folders.

  25. If you've been keeping up to date with the mod, yes. If not, or if it's first time using this mod, Optimized Core, then both updates. 5-18-23 and 6-8-23. I'm doing it this way to save bandwidth. So I don't have to upload 15GB each time and everyone don't have to download 15GB each time.
